Felling festive heading out on a gorgeous winter morning. I’ve been wearing Baobab Cat quite a bit lately. Unfortunately, my first destination is to the movies to see Aquaman because DH wants to on his birthday (groan...) but at least we are going to one of my favorite restaurants for lunch! [emoji4]

Hi, thanks for noticing the scarf ring. I purchased it couple of years ago online from
https://annetouraine.com/ . It’s small, like you would use to secure small corners on a cowboy knot. Mother of pearl and nice on both the dark and light side. I don’t see it there now, but if it pops up again I’m planning to get another (for backup).

It is actually called Grrr! and has a bear on it. I am not sure how many r’s there are. But I got it earlier this year and it was one of the last few in the country so it was older at that time. I hope it comes back. I love the design! It’s a men’s scarf.
This flock of chooks is quite tame and provides a show while I'm waiting for my bus. A couple of the cocks are adventurous and frequently hop from branch to branch up the bushy trees, then leap forth in a great flutter of feathers crowing loudly. Much more entertaining than the marauding monkey troop and occasional monitor lizard at the previous office location (which also had 3 home invasion murders and one dismembered body nearby

Thanks for sharing the chickens story! So funny. We saw a bunch of wild chickens in Hawaii (I think they used to be domesticated and escaped to the jungle after one of the hurricanes), and they had a surpassing amount of personality. I went to school in Asia, and we had monkeys on campus trying to get bananas or whatever else students were taking back to their dorm from the canteen. I would have certainly preferred chickens to that!
I am definitely going to look into more 140s as they are great for travel, which I do a lot. I am hoping I will grow more used to wearing and tying them. I tried using one as a head scarf today for a convertible ride, and it just didn’t work as well as a 90cm would.
