Together with golden flats is really posh!

Yes, I am very fancy when I go out to grab coffee in the morning ;)

Happy winter solstice, everyone! I get to eat a fave dessert tang yuan today. The traditional round glutinous rice balls which my family eats, plus some fancy ones which innovative folks post on the web.

And as promised, the jungle chooks near my office! They started off as one cock and two hens, and are now a huge flock with at least 4 cocks.

Caraibes, Combat de Coqs, Chanteclair and Tahiti with birdies that DH might also think are jungle fowl... :amuse:

I love 汤圆! Haven't had in a long time.

There are a lot of peacocks on Ciels Byzantins as well, although my husband has no issues identifying those. In fact, when we were in Istanbul I wore the scarf as a head covering to go into some religious places (I wanted to find that photo for the scarf-on-location week, but never did), and he kept commenting how the area could be improved with some peacocks. I think it is just the mythical birds that throw him off

The flock looks intimidating -- hope they are not too aggressive. I have had some run ins with aggressive wild turkeys in the past.

Not exactly festive but a present to myself, Perspectives (SS19!) from yesterday, as you can see I was wearing Iris as well.

You can really pull off this type of color scheme -- looks fantastic.
