I think I found a picture of her with the OP blue patent Chanel!!

Oh ladies you are the best! I believe those are the bags and reached out to the person who you see the picture of, she is the owner of the consignment store, she is not the one who came into my store, I believe she had the bags sent into her for consignment and she had no idea they were stolen with a stolen credit card.I have just notified her and she took down the turquoise chanel and hopefully will take down the silver tote. I will be speaking with her tomorrow and I will let you all know what happens!!!! I will also let my detective know that the bags are possibly there! Once we confirm serial numbers, we can confirm they are mine, but I am pretty sure they are mine, what are the chances those are rare bags, and the girl who scammed me I am pretty sure is in NYC, as she used the credit card there as well and said she was from there!!!

I have no doubt they're your bags!

Check with her about the blue patent bag too since she's carrying it in the picture.

I couldn't find the LV.

I would say still tread very lightly with her until the bags are in your hands any and everyone should be considered suspicious. May sound mean but I see the scams all the time and my mom runs the fraud department for a bank and she is always telling me how these credit card rings start inside the bank then branch out way beyond the banks reach sometimes. I am so glad things are getting close for you but I am just worried she may know more than she's letting on. I truly hope you get your bags back and I wish you all the best!!!

Don't feel bad! You found them and whether she's (the store owner) is a victim or accomplice, she has stolen merchandise and is on the hook.

Hopefully she has all the identity info of the scammer. I'm guessing that the scammer had to give her real name because consignment stores make their payments in checks and in order for the scammer to cash/deposit a check, it would have to be made out to her, especially in the amounts of what the check(s) would be when those bags sold.

Thank you for letting me know I really appreciate it! Its because of you ladies I might be able to find these bags!

The owner is not to blame she is just being used a fence to sell the merchandise which she didnt know was stolen. So far she has cooperated and has taken them down, so I am hopeful she will assist us in locating the scam artist. Fingers crossed!!

Why can't she give you the serial numbers right away so you have proof if they are your bags. It will be interesting if the bags suddenly do not have serial numbers in them. I wish you the best. Hopefully she is not involved because being nice means nothing. The scammer was nice and friendly to you.

I don't want to clutter this thread, but I am happy to see that BB and other TPF members did an excellent detective job. Please continue and make sure that the person or group involved in the scam is out of business.

I have a feeling that this was conveniently a 'cash transaction'. Good Luck!

Let us know whether you get your bags back from this owner. I couldn't see why not as these are stolen merchandise....
