Scam Artist NJ Stealing Chanel and Hermes

So there you go that is all

I did get my bags stolen with a stolen credit card and matching fake license
the person who came into my store was not Lynda
I immediately filed a police report with the millburn police
I was assigned a detective from millburn police who would be handling my case
I posted on TPF
my bags were found on Luxurysnob IG
She actually reached out to me and said this lady who consigned the bags with her saw the post on TPF and didn't know the bags were stolen
I gave the police Lyndas contact info
They were given a number by Lynda that didn't work
My bags were never found
Amex covered the chargeback thank god
I moved on with my life and focused on having a healthy pregnancy for my family and child best interest.
I did not revisit the post as I didn't get any notifications of new messages (maybe they went in my junk)
My good friend brought it back to my attention that she posted, at the same time she emailed me, see emails above.

And now I am clarifying the bleu handbag in the photos as it clearly looks like a bleu roi in the photos (if you've seen this bag in person you know how the colors can change depending on lighting and shade etc)

That is all all ladies.

@beenburned you are a superstar and I will always love you for the help you have provided me over the years. Thank you for everything. And the same goes for everyone else on TPF who took the time to help me.

I'll contribute one more post after seeing pictures of both Lynda's blog photo and Chanel1717's picture.

Color variations aside, with the side by side pictures, I'm of the belief that these do not show the same bag. The quilting and stitching lines are different.

Someone with specific Chanel knowledge is welcome to post but I've posted this picture for discussion.

First picture is just of the two bags. Second picture is marked to show the differences I'm seeing.

Having read this entire thing & following it from the beginning- I still say something is off with Lynda.

This whole mess was dead and buried for MONTHS and MONTHS!
Nobody even remembered or thought of 'Lynda0123" until she herself bumped this zombie thread and brought it all up again. :wondering Why? What's the motivation?

As for LuxurySnob- the fact they were involved in stolen merchandise (whether they were the perpetrator or not doesn't matter, they were in it up to their eyeballs) solidifies that I would never do business with them nor recommend them to anyone else.
Even if that wasn't a factor, her own business practices would cause me to RUN the other way.

1. Listing & selling bags sight unseen? That haven't been properly vetted & inspected?
:nono:
2. Saying she will "destroy any bag that is deemed inauthentic" rather than return it to the owner".
:nono:
Who is doing the authenticating? Genuine bags have been destroyed this way. Authentic or not any merchandise submitted to her that she chooses to not list MUST BE RETURNED TO THE LEGAL OWNER! Not doing so is THEFT and the owner can file a lawsuit for recovery.

3. Being this closely linked with the theft of handbags and expecting there would not be fallout is unrealistic. At best, It's her own business model & practices of listing items without proper research and without having them available that caused this! At worst it's her participation in this theft, whether before, during or after it occurred.
:nono:

Lastly, Suing for anything posted on the Net is not an easy thing to do so threatening the OP and the members here is a pointless waste of time and IMO akin to throwing a tantrum.
Everyone had long forgotten this until LuxurySnob brought it all to the forefront again.

Chanel1717, I'm sorry you're still being plagued by this! You were the VICTIM and you're still suffering for it! My sincere sympathy for you! :hugs:

Yes the bag that she just sent a picture of I feel was just sent to try to throw me off. It is clearly not the same bag she is seen wearing on her vacation. You can tell that just by the shade of blue in the photos. And yes I agree there are multiple things I see that are red flags about the last bag she just sent. Mind you this is a complete different bag then the restaurant bag photo that was sent too. I will try to find that photo as well.

I was about to make a $5,000 purchase of Chanel jumbo bag from luxury snob and I was like, let me check online and see if there is any review. I'm so glad i did, just reading through all the post and here response and explanation to this issue makes me sick. And the post of these two bags makes me giggles and give her a side eye.

You can clearly see the first photo is a fake bag, the stitches are all off....... hmmmmm. I'm so glad you got your money back. Too bad the scammer supposedly got a way with it, but wait we all know who the real scammer is. Thank God for the internet. Ladies, be careful where you spend your money.

I haven't gone back to reread this long 18-month old thread but just to comment on your post, I need to say you haven't read the thread from start to finish and have missed the point.

Although the OP's post is the report the theft of her bags by means of a stolen credit card. The comparison photos I posted were simply to show that the bag on Luxury Snob's site wasn't the same bag as the one that had been stolen from the OP. Authenticity (of lack thereof) wasn't part of the comparison and the OP didn't make a purchase from Luxury Snob.

I'm sorry OP for your problems and I did read your other postings and to me and in my opinion, something if off with your stories. Something is way off and I reiterate it's my opinion from reading through everything you posted and coming to my own conclusions.
