If you want a longer term relationship, I’d stick with one SA. Personally for me, I’d pick the SA I could have the most transparent relationship with and who is the most responsive to me. I usually make appointments with my SA before I go in even if it’s for something small or for the same day.

the right thing to do is simply be honest. If you want something very specific tell them that; if you are open tell them that. It works out in either case. Recently (past couple years) I’ve had no specifics at all on my wishlist, due to a combination of my SA already knowing very well what colors and styles I like & me being pretty happy with what I already have so any additional offers are only bonuses and not a specific need.Just tell them what you want. It may help to give your SA some examples, and if this is your first bag and you aren’t actually sure what will work for you, ask if there are any sample bags you can try on to get a better idea (this may or may not be available though). And generally speaking, if you are open it actually helps as it broadens your chances. In fact, I’d say that the one thing I don’t recommend doing is saying you are open when you actually aren’t, which means your SA could be working hard to get you an offer thinking that matches your (open) wishlist when it ends up being something you don’t want. (The only other thing I can think of is being way too broad and desperate, in conjunction with some other behaviors, may make one come off as being a reseller but I don’t think that’s the case at all based on what you said.)
TLDR: just be honest and it will be fine. You are the one shopping after all! Tell your SA what you actually want, be patient and work with them
These days I’d guess prespend is closer to 2:1 (or honestly, higher) at all US stores. There are just so many clients constantly spending and so few bags being delivered.
A friend here is >2x and is still waiting without any indication. Palo Alto is even worse
You listed medium sizes. Larger sizes (B35, K32+) could maybe get away with 1-1.5:1.
The luxury handbag community has brainwashed me into thinking anything bigger than the small sizes is absolutely ginormous haha

This was my first and I spent it on rtw, shoes & jewelry.
But they have to be available! So often the larger size aren’t so available. spend may be less but the wait can be super long.

Most in the US do not count any leather bags, and returns or multiple duplicate purchases can create issues
