You really should try to go!! They often do offers at these events. Congrats!!Watch event on Wed evening. I'm invited, but not sure I'll go.
Thank you!!
Yes, you are very much overthinking it. But if you’re really worried about it, slow down (without fully stopping) for the remainder of the prespend youll likely have to make (sounds like non bag 2-3+:1 is common these days).
Yes, there is a watch and cocktails event on Wednesday, and then the store is offering private appointments Thurs-Sat. I'm unfortunately out of town but would love to hear about any offers for those who can go!There appears to be a private event next week.. watch? Anyone been invited?
Wondering what it means that the store is having private appointments? Is the store closed to walk ins and only those with appointments are invited?Yes, there is a watch and cocktails event on Wednesday, and then the store is offering private appointments Thurs-Sat. I’m not sure but I have a regular appointment this Thursday with my SA that I scheduled weeks ago. Unrelated to the event.Wondering what it means that the store is having private appointments? Is the store closed to walk ins and only those with appointments are invited?
I wonder if the private appts are to follow if you want to purchase a watch?? As sweetpea indicated I guess the store is still open for everyoneWondering what it means that the store is having private appointments? Is the store closed to walk ins and only those with appointments are invited?

Ohhhh this might include a nice surprise!! Please keep us posted!Got invited to watch event — so offers really happen then??
There are no rules about prespend in the USA, it’s just a gauge for market competitiveness. It’s not you vs a rulebook, it’s you vs all the other clients. There needs to be a reason to give you the bag over everyone else that shops at your store who also want that bag. The reason could be you’ve spent more, you visit more often, you’ve never made a return, you were finally the one to buy that unsalable poncho that’s been on display for three years, you’ve never gotten a bag before, you’ve been shopping there the longest, it’s been three years since your last quota bag, you’re the only one who can make it to the store to purchase before the month ends tomorrow, you happen to ask right as the manager gets a second date confirmation with the hottie from the bar, or they just plain like you more for whatever reason. None of these factors alone guarantee you a bag and none of them automatically take you out of the running. Your profile doesn’t expire so just be the best well rounded easy to work with client and good things will eventually follow.
Just thought this should be a stickie for everyone in the USnon bag 2-3+:1 is common these days).

If any newcomer could spend non bag 2-3:1 for a guaranteed 25B gold, 25B being harder than 25K IMO) everyone would move to SF. Non leather spend is better than leather. Stuff that is not as popular is better than the usual charm, first floor merchandise, but only buy the stuff if you love it. If you don’t love the other stuff it’s easier, cheaper and faster to go reseller . JMO
Someone posted that she spent 15K in three years and her SA put her on the waiting list for a 25B gold. This seems like code for it will take a really long time. A B30 is significantly easier with smaller spend.
I am a Madison client and more than a few of us spent 5X rising during the 2022 summer leather drought to get a B25 sellier (SA was willing to provide one sooner, but there was nothing available that met the specs)
To the woman who deleted her post re bag offer, (was it on this thread?) and whose SA stopped responding electronically, I suggest going to see her in person, even if it means dropping in
JMO and YMMV
My SA told me it was…yesterday. So wondering if you all heard the same thing.C's are not quota bags in SF / the US in general, but are highly coveted and usually only available via offers
