Interesting! I've never been interested in pico and have only been asking for other simple everyday bags like mini evelynes, and was constantly being told no supply. Did you see mini evelynes or just regular size? Maybe I'll try asking to see some bags in person like you did on my next visit!
I only saw the size 29. Definitely ask in person. My SA is new with the brand and so am I so I’m definitely not a special customer. But I feel like she’s attentive and does do her best to find what I’m looking for! Best of luck!

Another q for all the SF clients.. anyone ever go to the store (booked appt) and walk out empty handed?
Yes, on many occasions over the years. I'd guess maybe 15% of the times I visit? If they don't have something I would love, I'd rather not add things I won't reach for. If it's just not in stock, my SA will many times source it and then send or I would go back to pick up.

Hello! I'm new to the hermes game, and recently made my first purchase at the SF store. The sales associate was really nice, and when I asked about bags they had on display, he actually asked me if there was something I wanted. I didn't dare asking for a kelly or birkin since it was my first time in the store and didn't have a purchase history, so I said I wanted a constance to go, which I'd looove to have as well. He took my wishes and I think entered into their system. I was just wondering from your experiences is it pretty lucky to be asked what you want on the first visit or is this a pretty customary thing to be asked? What's my chance of actually getting a constance to go sometime soon? Also, does anyone know if bags/leather items count towards threshold for the quota bags in this store? Thank you!

How else are you supposed to shop if you don’t tell your SA what you want? I told my SA on the first visit all the items I’m interested in. If the item you’re interested in is in stock (non-quota or non-popular bag), they will be happy to sell it to you. SF is very very limited on the SLGs. I have asked for a constance to go since I first started shopping with them six months ago and have yet to get it. But have been offered a KTG, box Kelly, and a couple picotins and Evelynes. CTG are rare in that store - imagine many other people are also waiting on one.

I don’t think it’s customary to be asked. I definitely wasn’t asked during my first visit. Good signs!

That's really good to know! So is it ok to start hinting about Kelly/Birkin maybe next time I visit? When people say "keep wishlist up to date", how often is it OK to contact the SA? (once a month? every week? more or less?) I'm just trying to keep my interest, while not coming off too aggressive...

If you do get offered a bag but changes your mind, is there a polite way to turn it down? Would it affect your chance of getting offered another bag?
