From my call yesterday, it seems like what you've described! The gentleman who picked up the phone actually made the effort to check if the item I want is available (there were but just not in the color I want) vs the PA store that I've been frequenting where I've asked my SA for months and they don't seem to be interested in ordering one for me.


I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll have great chemistry! I'm changing store and SA as I feel like it's an one sided affair with my current SA which is very disappointing . This means starting all over again in terms of spend but hoping for a better experience.

I'm sorry PA didn't work out for you.. I believe everyone at SF is nice so you're in good hands

The funny thing is this is my current experience with one SA at the SF location - I had indicated my interest for one certain bag and some scarves including "wild Singapore" since several months and from what I can tell, stocks have arrive but my (??)SA is in silence mode. Any how, thanks to my alert DIL who kept a lookout for me online and I got most of what I needed ..

Any way, I think I am going to make a call to ask for an intro to another sales person. Just my small input.

My understanding is that they closed on Friday and Saturday this weekend due to planned protests in the Bay Area.

That’s what my SA said. They will reopen on Monday.

This was at 4:30 on Saturday. Even when closed on Sundays they’re not boarded up like this! But the last two posters’ explanations make sense, in regards to planned protests this weekend.

Thanks so much for the response. They had to reschedule my appointment since they were closed this weekend. I hope we both get along because I am trying to build a relationship to hopefully get a B or K in the near future!

They had to cancel my appointment for this weekend because of a potential protesting. They are opening again on Monday

My SA called me on Thursday that she had to cancel my appointment for the next day (Friday) as they were in the process of closing early due to worry about planned protests. She said they are planning to reopen on Monday.

I had experience with Tony when he worked at Barneys and then later, at Chanel. He's now at Hermes, obviously and he's very sweet.
