Oh yes totally legit. I am not saying anything about authenticity of RueLala, just that in the last few days, I can't get their usually great customer service to reply to my emails. Is this website legit?
Just wanted to say I sent an email this morning (third one) to:
[email protected]
and they sent me an automated reply that they will get back to me. This is progress (I think)![]()
OK to update: they did get back to me (after 3rd email) and gave me $50 credit for each piece (the pants for the "inconvenience" of the security tag. I STILL have no idea how to get it off!Is there a number you can call? I can't believe you can't get a hold of them!
OK to update: they did get back to me (after 3rd email) and gave me $50 credit for each piece (the pants for the "inconvenience" of the security tag. I STILL have no idea how to get it off!) and the coat for the white mark on front. They said if I take it the coat the dry cleaners and the white mark can't be removed, they will issue a full credit. Both of these items were on their final sale, so I feel like this is fair.
It is a good site and I have gotten lots of great stuff from them. My initital inquiry was to ask if anyone else was having trouble reaching customer service via email. Could be these blasted spam filters.
Thanks for the tip. I may have to try that one. I am sure every shoplifter in Christendom would love to know that. You can probably just take the pants to a retail store with a copy of your receipt and explain the issue. Usually, they have at least one universal tag remover (at least the one I worked at did).
If you don't want to do that, and the tag is not filled with ink, there is a technique using a rubber band that sometimes works (I learned about this from the manager at the store I worked at). All you do is take a rubber band and wrap it in the small area between the sensor and the smaller part that needs to come off. If you do it correctly, the end and the sensor will lose the magnetic force between them and you will be able to detach the sensor. There might be a specific rubber band size that works best, but I don't know!
I agree about the "imperfections," but I really love this jacket and it was a great deal; so if the white mark can be removed, I would love to keep it.OP - Just because you buy something that is final sale doesn't mean that it's acceptable for it to be in poor condition. Otherwise, they should list the "imperfections" for that item. You will need to go to a b&m store to get the tag off. If you try to take it off yourself, there's a good chance you'll end up with a hole. I hope the white mark comes off!
