Considering it is barely 24 hours since the birth, they all did so well today -- baby and all the mums and dads! Who cares who knew what when,,,now we all know. These photos are awesome....thanks so much!

I can't speculate on the Diana coincidence but seeing the 2 videos of first Charles and Diana with Wills then William and Catherine leaving the hospital 31 years later, I think the similarity is a bit convenient to be a totally coincidental. I'm even wondering if they used the same swaddling blanket. That's what a friend of mine did when she gave birth. They used the same sweater with which her husband's mother brought all 5 of her babies home.

I think it's a hand crotched/knitted (spelling:shame:) shawl...I think they make them in Ireland.

I'll have to dissagree with some of you, I though she looked like she was very overwhelmed, and she had been crying. And I know you can say she may had been tired, but still I would have thought she would look more radiant and happy. I felt sorry for her. Now is when a marriage is going to put under stress, I don't know if there marriage will be able to handle it. This is my IMO.

I understand it is your opinion and this is mine -- just look at how physically close she and William stand next to each other compared to the physical distance between Diana and Charles. Kate and William are in this for the long haul,,,,,just wait and see. I thought she and he looked very happy and appropriately tired...it had not been 24 hours. In every photo, they both look like loving parents who are ready to step confidently into the future. If we could bottle that look, we would be zillionaires :)
