Rose Gold Sadness. Tracking shows delivered. It is not here. :( ++

This is sad & unfortunate. I hope one of your neighbors hasn't realized yet that they have and it will turn up.

Sounds like this was an eBay purchase? Was the purchase price $250 or more? If so, and the seller didn't ship it with signature confirmation, you can open a case to get your money back. You wanted to receive the bag, but if this was the case you wouldn't be out both the bag & the money.

I hope this ends well for you :smile1:

it was $185, so no. There's $100 insurance on it but it won't apply here because it shows as delivered. :(

I still think that you should give it more time. You mentioned that a post office in the wrong zip code had possession of it and then it showed "delivered". There's a good chance that it was forwarded to the correct post office and incorrectly scanned as "delivered". I have sold items for many years and anytime that I have had delivery issues (misrouting and incorrect scanning) it has almost always been in NY. I can only imagine the amount of mail that they receive. Give it more time...I have had it take up to a week before tracking shows additional movement.

You spoke to your regular postman, but have you called your local post office to investigate it? They should ask the carrier who was working that day.

Fingers crossed that your package does make its way to you.

I had this happen once with an Amazon package. About a month later, I got the box top, yes just the box top with the label attached in an envelope with a note from the PO, and that was my package. My guess is the box was ripped up by man or machine and my stuff went either with said person or was lost after the machine ripped away the address label and no one knew where it was supposed to go to. This was after the PO people swore to me it was delivered since that's what the computer said. Obviously not. I fixed things with Amazon and my credit card company so just a nuisance.

I really do hope your package is just lost in the system and will make its way to you. I know this is a special package and not so easily replaced. I just wanted to let you know that sometimes it's still out there despite the system message and will eventually find it's home. Here's hoping you find someone who cares enough to help you. Good Luck!

I'm sorry to hear your package is lost. I hope it finds its way and gets delivered to you soon.

I had a similar issue once with UPS, I sent a big box to my aunt. UPS showed as delivered with someone else signing for it. I was never found. Got some money back from the insurance but I under insured it so it was still a loss.
