I wanted to give an update on my visit to the Rome store. You don’t need an appointment and even on a busy Saturday afternoon I didn’t have to wait long for a sales associate. The SA I worked with was so nice and very helpful. I was looking for a Constance 24 (I know a long shot) or an Evelyne 29. She didn’t have either and was really upfront with me. Showing the bags she did have in stock from her phone. She showed me a rose poupre mini bolide, anemone swift bolide 27 and a noir bolide epsom 27 but they were all phw and I really prefer ghw. I declined. I did purchase 2 Bingata shawls which I was thrilled to get since Canada didn’t get any 140s. Just the twillies I had a great experience in store and wanted to recommend a stop if you are in Rome.

I will be in Milan in July and am also interested in knowing if it’s worth trying. I am willing to spend money on birkin bait but just need to understand if there is a chance or should Isave my $ for my home store

With Milan you never know, they usually sell to locals or big spenders. I'm sure, that if you spend 15-20K on RTW/ Jewelry, there's a chance you'll get offered something, you just need to hope that it's actually something you like... It's always worth trying though, you never know...
Florence has a locals only policy at the moment, so the chances are slim.
Capri would be your best bet, as its a seasonal store - but it opens around May/June.
No appointments required, the last time I went there they had decent stock. SIL scored a Picotin 22 gold on gold. Stock has been not the best, but I recommend always going beginning of the month!
I have been to Milan store 2 weeks ago - they had wish list system for B/K, which was open for tourists as well. No stock as per SA I worked with.

In Milan, I always got what I asked for on my wishlist, but I am a local customer who visit the boutique quite often... If you mean what are the chances if you go, leave a wish and never come back, I'm not sure...

Just went to the Milan Store and it’s gorgeous. Plenty of bags on display and not for purchase.BKC”s. No appt is necessary, but all the SA’s were busy with other people. For bags you can only shop with the SA’s in the Leather Dept. More than 10 people were waiting around for a SA. Decided to leave and try earlier the tomorrow.
What I did notice is that they had a lot of SA’s in the Bag dept doing nothing.
