@laura_seattle Did you end up getting anything at Fiumicino and Rome?
Hi! I tried at the Hermes at Fiumicino but they didn’t have bags sadly. I was back in Rome a week ago and I waited two hours in the Hermes store in Rome just to be told they didn’t have any bags. A lot of people were really upset and just left because the wait was so long. I wish they would just say the bags are gone! Anyway, they have a pop up store right around the corner and I got a Constance Slim which I have wanted forever! They were very nice. Tried again at Fiumicino and still no bags! Let me know if anyone else has any luck!

Hi everyone - I’m heading to rome for 2 weeks in June. I’m hoping to get an Evelyne PM. Any thoughts/experiences on whether the rome store may have some in stock? I have two little kids who will be with me (not going to Hermes, of course!), so if it will take too much time/be too much of a long shot, I may just scrap it for another G/P. We are also headed to amalfi so could potentially visit the capri store, but our time there will be limited so was hoping to take care of it in rome. Tysm for any info!

I've been to the Rome store in May and they barely have stocks for everything which I've requested for. The store is also crowded, very little crowd control. Most shoppers are just waiting around for the SA to serve them.

I know someone who was sold an L26 in Rome this Spring. She is from the US and it was her first time to buy in Rome. She bought items (<5K$ in purchase) and was sold the bag. She told me that the SA told everyone else asking for a bag at that time that "there were no bags". It means that the SA sells it to who he/she wants to and there is no rhyme or reason. Of course, there is some pre-spending involved.....but it all boils down to luck---does the SA want to sell to you a bag or not? She made it clear though that she was told that there were no QBs available for her.

That was my experience too. Same in Milan

Going on a trip to Italy soon! Any recent success stories from tourists visiting Rome (airport or local store) with a B/K/C or one of the mini bags? Also visiting other Italian cities and posting on those respective forums. Thank you!

Perhaps reading the last few pages would give you an idea on Rome.

@c98b89 , you can get a sense of answers to your query by scrolling up
there has not been any luck on BKC or mini bags and even a non mini non QB required spend

I just came back from Rome, spent about 3k euro buying scarves and shawls but all bags have been sold out as it was already 6:30pm by the time I paid, the SA told me higher chances in the morning. So next morning I queue up before the store opens and then asked for the same SA, she asked what bag I want and I said mini Kelly but of course a ‘no’ from her, then I said mini jypsiere, she then key in my passport number, I guess she wanna see how much I spent previously and without saying anything and came back with a small orange box from the stock room. She showed me a mini roulis and said that’s the only bag available, no other choice and no other color….so that’s a buy it or leave it…although it’s not the style I thought of buying before but I took it anyway.

Hello everyone! I'll be heading to Italy early October and will be visiting Rome, Florence and Venice. Looking to get a twilly, a belt, change tray and also looking for a Lindy 26.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll have time to visit Hermes in all 3 cities. Are there any thoughts on which of the 3 cities have the best stock?

I visited Rome and Florence stores back in May, they are very packed and chaotic, most of the items requested (shoes, belts, SLGs, bags) are OOS.

However Bologna store was a different experience all together, there was crowd control, service was great, and I did managed to get some items.

Good luck.
