Oh gosh. Im so scared! I'm visiting Milan with my two teenage daughters in Mid-march and will not get my hopes up for the B/K for sure! Is this their attitude for ALL bags? Should I just not bother and just purchase SLGs, CSGMs and jewelry??
Oh my. Okay thanks so much for the heads up. Won't let SAs with attitude spoil my trip with my girls! In all honesty, I have given up on Milan and I don't shop there anymore... a couple of years ago, the store and the sa's were really nice, nowadays they give you an attitude like there's no tomorrow and I quite frankly don't have time for this...
Hi dear can you DM me as well? ThanksThats how I feel too, Milan SA are very rude, It's feel like they look down on you or not interested on anything you ask.
I dont think you can get offer for B,K and C in italy as they are reserved for local or waiting list. I will PM you my SA in Rome
Are you Italian? Can you DM me your SA contact please ? ThanksRome has very low stock in terms of B/K/C lately, and I know because I usually just pop in and see my SA and she offers me anything that is available that day.. lately not so many deliveries she said... but anyway as a walk in, unless you spend a fortune in both Milan or Rome, no chance!! hth
Hi dear can you DM the SA details please? So here is today’s experience:
We went to the store at around 12:30 it was full so we had to wait a while to have a SA come to us. (We went straight up the stairs when entering.)
On display we saw a GM Etoupe E a black Cherche-midi a greyish/blue double sense and red octogone. There were a few more bags but nothing memorable. Lots of wallets but these were all labeled only for display.
When our SA came to us my fiancee who is half italian and speaks the language perfectly did all the talking. I trained him previously as we approached the store about what to say and sizes to ask. Even though we were asking for “common” bags with all the horror stories I’ve read here I didn’t want to risk my chances.
He asked straight away for a black P 22 GHW, she said let me see, took her phone looked up and said we have one but in PHW do you want to see it? We said yes, so she sat us in a private corner at one side and showed us the bag. Since I really want this bag in GHW I said I would rather wait for the one I loved and she then told us all about availability on this bag, told us they get new deliveries everyday except Sunday and even suggested she might be able to send the bag to my local store when available. She said they don’t usually do this, but sometimes they might. Then I asked her for a black GP 36 in vache country and she said she only had Negonda which I don’t want and she just straight up told me all the stock she had on this bag. Somehow even though I want non exclusive bags it seems the combinations I am asking for are not very common but she educated us well as to what our chances are and all the solutions we could have to get them.
She even gave us her card with her email and told us to write to her tomorrow specifically pointing out all what we talked today because she gets lots of people writing to her like they know her when they don’t.
She was extremely nice and helpful and we left the store empty handed but very hopeful. I have nothing bad to say about my experience but then again we are European customers and looking for everyday bags so it might have something to do with that.
Hope this helps and good luck to everyone hope you find your desired bags!
I'm going to Milan in April. I hope by that time you'll be posting here about your great experience!Oh my. Okay thanks so much for the heads up. Won't let SAs with attitude spoil my trip with my girls!![]()
I have been to Rome in June and they were lovely. I was a bit confused because I was only allowed in once they had me an SA assigned. I mostly shopped for other things, but I also asked for a Kelly. The response was that these have been allocated to their known local customers. For me, it was the first time shopping in Italy so I did expect that kind of answer...Has anyone been to the Rome or Milan store since they reopened? Are the chances of getting a K or B easier now since there are no tourists?
