I can only speak for Milan and Rome, you'd have to spend a very large amount on other items in order to get offered something, and sometimes even if you do, they might end up having colours you don't like.. Venice I've never been personally, but I've heard good things from that store. The least you can do is try, perhaps you'll get lucky!

Will visit Venice, Florence and Milan next month. Hoping to get a bearn compact, Neo booties and MAYBE a lindy 26. Anyone seen any booties available in stores this month? I can just order them online if there are no boots available.

Is it really hard to score a lindy in Italy? TIA!

I was in Italy for the 3 weeks. Wasnt looking for B,K and C because I know it only reserved for local or waiting list . I'm looking for picotin.
No luck in milan, venice and florence.
However in Rome my luck start to change, I met a very wonderful sa, his name is fabrizio.
On my first meeting with him, I got taurillon clamence lindy 30 , bearn wallet and 2 polo shirts. He said picotin is really hard to get this day, people always looking for it.
I came back the next day also no stock and I came back again the next day but in afternoon but its already sold to someone else in the morning but I did not regret it because in the morning, we went to the Vatican and my husband shook hand with the pope .
Then we went to santorini and in Athens, the stock are low but I managed to score special design herbag , sandal, and kelly belt.
after Athens, we went to Capri, stocks are not bad, many lindy and garden party.
Back to Rome , I tried my chance again with Fabrizio, hold and behold he got me picotin 18 in bleu nuit along with twilly and sandal for my husband just the day before my departure home20190624_160224.jpg 20190703_104556.jpg

how wonderful to hear your story! Congratulations on your scores - I bought bearn compact wallet in the same colour 2 weeks ago in Venice too!

Also bought Neo booties and Oran. SA was very lovely and she was trying hard to find me a Lindy 26... too bad only ostrich was available. I’ll be back in Italy later this month so hopefully will manage to find a Lindy or Roulis.

On the day I got my lindy, there was also lindy 26 in bright yellow, but its not for me. And I find sa in rome more friendly than sa in milan.

Have a great upcoming trip in Italy but it is very hot now in Italy

Just in Rome last week. I watched the SAs roll their eyes at each other after dismissing the group of Americans who walked in before me. I wandered the store a bit without any of the not-busy SAs even making eye contact with me. The staff at BV was far more welcoming, and I happily brought home Italian leather instead of French.

The SAs in Milan can be rude. My first purchase was a belt and some twilly wraps, and within the same week with another SA an oran. So I didn't bother to ask about a Kelly, but I really want one! I am in Florence atm, and heading to Rome after this. Can somebody PM me with their favorite SAs?
