I was in Rome last year in November and was able to get a lindy 30 in rouge tomato in ghw. Did not make any purchase prior to that. Walked into the store and met a really nice lady sa and was chatting with her and asking to view a kelly wallet and also ask if any bags were available. She actually offered me 3 lindys option, which is a blue sapphire in swift leather which i rejected and i ask for non swift leather. Then she offered me a blue nuit in clemence shw, which i also rejected, as i wanted something brighter. Finally she brought out a rouge tomato. Was quite unsure abt the colour in ghw and she was soooo nice that she even brought the lindy out of the store to show it to me in natural light. In the end, i bought the rouge tomato lindy and the kelly wallet in blue e and twillies! One of the best experience i had in a hermes store.

Was in Milan earlier in November this year and surprisingly the stock was not bad. Manage to get a horse shoe charm and rejected a horse head charm. There was also an etoupe bolide 31 available but i had juz bought a black bolide in Amsterdam. No B, K or C thou...

Not looking for another Birkin, just wanted to know if there is any SA that you worked with that you loved. My wife wants to get some silk and possibly a wallet

The inventory at the Rome boutique was good. The SA that we worked with was friendly and helped tie the twillies that we bought to the wife’s B. Overall a pleasant shopping trip.

Dear craving,
I'm really sorry for responding only now to your query. I've been offline for quite some time on the platform and unfortunately I've seen your post only now, otherwise I would've recommend you my SA. She makes every shopping experience unique and delightful - but I'm glad to hear that you found your way and had a wonderful experience in Rome with your wife.

The shop itself is the second biggest in EU after FSH in Paris, and inventory is mostly always good in Rome - one of the best places in Italy to shop, next to Milan. :-)

Visited Milan store during Thanksgiving for the first time, even though I've been to the city too many times to lost count. It was actually larger and nicer than I expected.

I was not offered a coveted bag, but they did seem to have many more options of non BKC bags to show. The display was limited but they kept bringing out more bags in various styles and colors to other customers while I was there chatting away with my SA. I felt like I took too much time with my SA when I was just getting two very small items. But travel buddy said it should be fine as my SA was the only one actually making profit at the time. Many customers entered but they all left without any purchase.

My SA said I feel so different from other customers (translations, "tourists") as all the others get so disappointed and leave with sad faces. I told her it's because I am quite used to rejections and have low expectations.:p I think it's a great store to ask for non BKC bags. I pretty much saw every style of bags shown to other customers, all in nice current colors. I've been to plenty other Hs in Europe where they literally won't show anything else than display or even avoid eye contact as soon as I enter the store. Milan was definitely not like that. My SA was cool and other SAs were very eager to help as well.

Hi there, may I know the name of your SA? I AM heading to Milan at the end of this year and I'm contemplating if I should make a trip to Paris to get a Kelly/birkin but I am an Asian (Singapore Chinese). Guess It might be hard for me to get my hands on one. :(

I was in Rome, not Milan. If you’re looking for K/B, I’d recommend Paris as you would have a better chance.

Hi, would anybody recommend a SA in Milan boutique? I asked the same questions in SAs worldwide thread but apparently did not get any response. Would be very helpful if I would manage to finally find a nice SA at Hermes Milan.

Thanks!
Just realised That I'll be at Prague till 28/12. And factoring the Sunday n new years day, I think it will not be worthwhile for me to make a trip to Paris. It's ok perhaps the next time!

I doubt that being asian is a big determining success factor at FSH or Sevres even.. Both times i went to Paris (2016, 2017) majority of the customers inside were asian (including myself)... i mean, as you can see there’s even a stickied thread on “asians and their hermes”...:graucho:.. if you’re practically there (europe i mean) Paris is your best bet IMO..
