beautiful congrats! sounds like it was meant to be!Last month, I put my name down for a datejust 28 rose gold chocolate diamond dial. Two days ago, I went to the boutique to have my husband’s Rolex serviced and added another color (aubergine) to my wishlist. Then the AD showed me an exhibition piece, a rose gold 28 with olive green dial. I didn’t know I wanted it until I saw it, so I added that to my wishlist as well. The next day (yesterday), they called and offered me the watch. Perfect timing as I was back at the mall that moment, so I picked it up an hour after they called.
What a beautiful gift from your parents! I find men’s luxury watches, especially Rolex watches, are nicer than women’s watches. They offer more complications like dates/days/etc, and they offered better presence. Wear it in health!
I finally got the call! 
And to be honest, it's very bittersweet. I'm struggling with grief at the moment so the timing is so frustrating and ridiculous that I can't help but laugh. Regardless, I tried to make the best of the moment because I have been waiting for years!
Seeing it on my wrist was so surreal. It's more stunning than I could've imagined. I was so overwhelmed & excited that I forgot to take a picture after it was sized, but it's wrapped under the Christmas tree so I'll have to take more photos after the holiday

I’m thinking about this exact collection. I have the same two tone as you but with a champagne dial but I want the 31mm silver dial as my every day/casuL watch!
