My very first Rolex. I purchased it in Geneve, Switzerland during my work there. I particularly wanted 2toned 36 watch with a grey face and Roman numbers. It was my dream watch for many years and I purchased it at THE Rolex store, I remember that day so well!

I have put myself on the waitlist at 3 local ADs. Yesterday the one closest to me texted to let me know that the 36mm SS/white gold with MOP diamond dial and fluted bezel was in for me. The only problem is I really think the 31mm is better for me and I hadn't let him know. I went and tried the 36mm and while it was stunning (and I wanted to buy it because it was actually there and available), I decided to wait for the 31mm. I know that means longer (they did have it with the oyster bracelet but I want the jubilee) but I have to get the right one. And I'm confident there is another buyer out there happy to take it home. It's just impossible to ever see one even as a display in that configuration to really know. So my wait continues.
