Just my personal observation:
My 31 mm is still brand-new (I have only worn it since December 24) so it is too early to tell but so far, no visible scratches yet

My 26 mm does not show visible scratches on the metalware but I did have to send it back to Rolex for service (the second hand was no longer moving at all) since it had been with me for more than 15 years

I wear my tennis bracelet 24/7 with either watch (I do take my watches off when showering,and sleeping though) but so far I have not seen scratches so far.

I think Rolex watches are generally beautiful and tough time pieces. Even if either watch were to eventually show scratches, I would not mind because it will hopefully signify a life fully lived (like its owner hehe)

that's great to know & so helpful thx! I just got my TB & hadn't even thought to try it on my left wrist where I wear my rolex until I saw your photo LOL! My watch is a 36 though which takes up a lot of space on my tiny wrist so I wonder if there will even be room for my TB; I'll have to try it on tomorrow & post a pic!

My dream watch! Love it! This one is platinum and SS - know a couple of very cool folks in my circle who own just this one YM. Understated, classy - almost a IYKYK model. Wear in good health! (I know its been a while since you posted this, hope you see this!).
