Hm. I’m not sure how I feel about this. On one hand, why would they take something away from a new bag? They should add a something “more” instead. On the other, I always remove the clochette anyway as I can never get it to lay the way I want and can be too cluttered (for my taste) with charms.

Did you happen to notice, was metallic graphite a dark, almost black gray, or was it lighter than pictured online?

If I remember correctly it was a little darker than the online picture.

Anyone have experience with either the Rogue 39 or Rogue Brief for laptop use? The dimensions look similar except the Rogue 39 is deeper. The brief has a separate spot for your laptop, too. Mine is 13" so looks like it would fit in either. The brief is nice in the smooth leather but then when you put in the cord and anything else, it would get small fast. My only concern with that one.

I don't have a first generation Rogue and I am wondering if I should get one... Is there any difference beyond the lock and handles?

For people who own both first and second generation Rogues do you notice a quality difference?
