I'm expecting a bag back today from repair. Sent because the 3 stitches in the front of the bag that secure the ring where you attach the shoulder straps via the inside ring came loose. If they use the wrong colored thread or squashed my bag I'm gonna be very mad! I'm already mad at Coach for inviting me to a party and not letting me in the door. Playing hard to get is not a way to show love or keep love.
Hopefully they didn't "repair" yours like they did mine. They cut the loose thread then burned the end of it.

Received my bag from repair and I’m so disappointed. Why would they replace the hardware with something that doesn’t match?

I had the exact same problem with my black Felix rogue. 1 zipper pull fell off which my SA sent along with the bag, it only needed a new pin to secure it. Instead repair took the good zipper pull off too and replaced both with gunmetal even though the bag is black copper.

Coach Repairs sucks, they also messed up my black/burgundy link rogue tote. The threading popped loose where you attach shoulder strap. Instead of restitching it they cut off what was loose. They then shipped it back to me folded in half, no stuffing in bag, in a tiny box. My bag that I had only carried for 30 minutes before sending in came back with a ton of scratches, scuffs, and color loss on a corner.

I will never use Coach Repairs ever again.

Is my third experience with their repair and all three have been complete disasters. The first one was with a redu suede rhyder. I had to send it back to fix edge painting on one of the handles. They returned it to me with gluing the edge paint to the handles and a huge glue line on the back side of the bag. The line was probably 8-9 in long. My SA took care of me. The second time I sent a brand new rogue 36 to have edge paint redone. They did a good job but sent the bag back to me in a box a half size of the bag. It took me three weeks to remove creases from the bag. This is my third experience and I’m done with their repair as well. Did you complain about their repair service?
WHAT HORROR STORIES!!! I'm totally mortified.
None of these issues should have happened in the first place, let alone the crazy non-'repairs'!!! Rogues are relatively new, why would they ALREADY show wear & tear?! Yikes. Hopefully these are anomalies..

And that wrong-colored hardware is unbelievable!!! How is that a repair?!!!? Did the handle leather tear, or did something happen to the hardware?

Bottom stitch was cut and burned so now it's not double stitched like it's supposed to be. I carry a lot in my rogue totes, now I'm fearful the entire thing will pop out when I use shoulder straps. View attachment 4004821
That is an awful thing to have to worry about, when toting a TOTE..

Damage to corner and edgecoat because they stuffed a large tote in a box that regular sized rogues are shipped in.View attachment 4004822
Wow, they've defeated the purpose of their own craftsmanship!!! That's awful.

Yes, unbelievable for a company that touts craftsmanship! The people who did these repairs should be fired. Any moron should be able to match up the hardware to the right color. If they have none left, they should order more from their supplier. I would think they would have planned for issues and stock pieces to use on repairs....or really shouldn't need repairs so early in the making of a product. Rogues haven't been out THAT long!

Still waiting for my delivery.....hoping they come today and don't do a pass off to the Post Office. UPS says it is out for delivery and I hang around all day waiting to find out they delivered to the Post Office so THEY can deliver to me on Monday! Wasting my Saturday and looks like a beautiful day out there! I've got things to do....

Omg all they did was cut the stitching?? That is horrible, horrible!! Ugh, they made it worse!! I am so sorry to hear that. I have the same stitching problem with my black/burgundy link rogue tote and was going to send it in but just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Ugh. I guess I will just keep it as is instead.

Just received my repair and have to say it came out great! I guess I got lucky! Thread color matched the other side. I wish they had at least stuffed the bag when returning. I gave it to the store to send for returns w/o a dust bag because I didn't have one. Not sure if the store or repairs sent it back with one of those white silky bags. I was hoping to get a 1941 bag for it....but sounds like I should just be grateful they didn't screw up the repair. It does make you question when the little postcard it comes back with signed by a master repair person! I guess the word "master" is all relative!

PHEW-

Yes, I plan to carry it in all seasons. When it rains or snows, I will carry a different bag.
I purchased Handbag Raincoats in 3 different sizes so I never have to leave my Coach bags at home due to rain or snow. Ppl have complimented me on them. I like the totally transparent style so my beautful bags still show through. Worth the price to protect our investment!
