Me too! It's actually a joke in my family because I hate snakes, worms, slashing cat or dog tails... basically anything I perceive to be "cylindrical and unpredictable". Lol.

Hi, I'm so very sorry that this happened.
I know how excited you were and how incredibly disappointed you must be now. I have to say that the packaging of these Rogues has been horrible. Nearly everyone I know who received one (including me) had the "smiley face" indents due to the longer straps being packaged outside the bag when shipped. I don't know what the issue is with quality control, but it's really not acceptable for you to receive a bag of that price the way you did. I truly hope the next one works out for you, whichever you decide.

I think I'm going to try another black. While I absolutely love the Cornflower, it just doesn't fit into my wardrobe as well. Since this is such a pricy bag I want to make sure I can use it often. Now should I just ship this back as an exchange and hope I get a better version or hold onto it and just place a 2nd order? 3 of the 4 dogleash clips work perfectly on my current one but I can't get over the scratched up feet. I'm afraid the new one will have clips that don't open like my 1st oxblood rogue and might need to swap out the straps.
As a sidenote, anyone notice how some of the stitching near the zipper is kind of fuzzed up in places? Both my oxblood and python have this in places and neither have been used.

I love my oxblood! I actually wear it when I would otherwise wear a black purse because the contrast color is black. I bought it so I can wear it with both black and brown. In love! Let us know if you keep it! But, I understand if you want something much lighter if you end up keeping the black.

I took my oxblood rogue out for the first time today and absolutely love it! So comfy and organized, I didn't find it too heavy at all.
I think I will order a 2nd black python and hope it's in better shape than the first. I emailed CS about 3 hrs ago to check inventory and am still awaiting a reply.

So I had my black rogue for a little over two weeks and still haven't cut her tags. I don't necessarily think it has to do with the season (still gets chilly in my state) but rather I'm starting to think that maybe the black and mineral are too similar in color tone. I love the black and I don't own a full black bag. However, I really enjoy the mineral and I am starting to realize just how much a dark neutral it is. Plus the black handles make it much more so.
Thoughts? Anyone have both by chance? I'm going to post a photo side by side for better comparison sometime tomorrow.

I don't have both but I considered adding black but had similar thoughts as you. I feel they are too similar to own both. The mineral is dark enough for me to consider it a neutral...
