As beautiful as my oxblood rogue is, I have yet to use it. Even when I plan to carry it I switch into my mineral whiplash saddle bag last minute. I'm trying to figure out why I keep avoiding it. I realllly love my saddle bag because it's a beautiful color, lightweight, and so easy to carry. If I didn't have my 2 new saddle bags I definitely would have carried the rogue by now. Oxblood feels like a very fall/winter color too which I think is why I've been carrying colors that feel a bit more "springy".
I also have the black python rogue due to arrive tomorrow. I need to make up my mind soon. I need to make sure I truly love the rogue design to justify owning 2.

I was initially trying to decide between mineral and oxblood. I chose mineral because I knew that I would not carry the oxblood during the warmer months. It just seems more fall/ winter. However, I'd carry the oxblood saddle year round so I guess, for me, it depends on the style of the bag. I definitely plan to get a bag in the color later in the year. Of your two rogues, I would keep the python. It's tdf!!!! :smile1:

Well, I'm in the minority here because I don't think it's all that heavy. Obviously there is weight to it, but not to an extent that I even notice it. I haven't moved out of mine since the day I got it. I slip my phone in the outside pocket and any notes or grocery list, etc....otherwise what I carry fits great in the main compartment. Good luck on deciding. ☺

I feel the same. After reading the post, I walked around with mine and honestly didn't think it was that heavy. Seems we put the same things in the outside pockets...:smile1:

Thank you for the feedback, guess I need to think harder.

I was debating keeping the oxblood and the suede Rogue because of the 30% discount I received on both, but I have yet to carry or cut the tags on either one. I live in my saddle bags. They're so easy to carry and light.

Even the Outlaw 36 is heavy, which surprised me. I put a few things in the Outlaw, and it felt like a brick to me when carried by hand, it felt a little better crossbody. Also, the exterior pockets of the Outlaw are small and the turnlocks look nice, but makes it awkward to put anything in the pockets. If I keep the Outlaw, I'll probably only put receipts in the turnlock pockets. The Outlaw 36 is so unique to anything I already have, so I really have to think on that one before returning.

I plan on keeping the suede Rogue, but I'm also looking forward to the release of the smaller Rogues in May and may opt for that one instead, which is also coming out in 1941 saddle. I'll just have to think about it. I don't want to regret any of my recent purchases or returns, especially since Coach bags seem to go out of stock so quickly.

Is it me or is this bag heavy? I was all excited and loaded it up this morning and it felt like a brick!
I've carried heavy handbags but this is something else! Plus doesn't seem like enough space inside to comfortably put my slgs.
Also what do you ladies put in the compartments? I tried my keys but it bulges out and I'm afraid of ruining it. I'm on the verge of return...
I also don't find the Rogue to be heavy when carried as a shoulder bag. By the handles, it absolutely does feel like a bowling bag to me. I was surprised that I found the Outlaw 36 to be heavy as well, even after downsizing my items. I don't carry a lot so I definitely feel there's enough room in the Rogue for what I do carry. I'm planning on using the front pocket for my phone and also to put papers/receipts in both pockets, but the majority of what I carry would go in the zipper section. Right now, I'm just going through the decision making process and looking forward to May and the release of the smaller Rogue.

I think that I need to stop focusing on the fact that I got a 30% discount on these bags and realize that I purchased way more bags than I normally would have had I not had a discount and thus spent a lot more than I normally would have as well.

I think I have completely eliminated the rogue from my list unless I can handle the small size. It's a gorgeous, unique bag but like you, I'm thinking of the great deal I got rather than usage.

I went through something similar with the cornflower rogue and tea rose dinky. In my experience of buying and selling TONS of bags over the years if you don't have that "omg" feeling about a bag it most likely won't happen and you are better to return it and put the money toward something you will love and use. Use is extremely important. I kept both for a week and returned today. The only reason I contemplated keeping the cornflower rogue because it was out of stock and I got it 30% off. Ultimately I figured it was a high price to pay for a bag that will sit there as a display ornament. Luckily Coach gives plenty of time to think it over. Best of luck to you! I adore the saddle bags as well!!

Yes, I'm also glad Coach gives us so much time to think it over. I'm slowly narrowing things down. Without a doubt, I'm returning the oxblood Rogue. I'm pretty sure I'm keeping the suede Rogue. I love that the pockets are lined in leather and the color is beautiful and very neutral. Just need to make a final decision on Outlaw 36 and whiplash saddle bag in chalk. You love the Rogue the way I love the saddle bags, I have five of them as well.

Thank you!! :smile1: Couldn't have made the decisions without all of you ladies (and gents for the unambiguous names!). Your reveals, tips, and info helped a TON!
OMG, PurseUOut!!! That is an amazing collection. Actually made me laugh a little. I would like to do exactly the same thing; just buy one of each color that I love!!!

I have been using the heck out of my suede. It looks aMAZING against a black backdrop and it's still cold where I live so I'm wearing it with my black leather jacket and my black wool peacoat and my black and fur trimmed dressy coat (over dresses). I just can't QUIT this bag!!!

I took it on a business trip with me this week because I can't stand to be parted with it....
