Being in masks for 2 years I haven't caught a cold and it got rid of my seasonal allergies too

Seriously? A 95 year old should not be doing anything but resting. Palace PR made a big mistake when suggesting she would continue to work, if only remotely.

They expect nurses to work as well.

I'm not aware of many 95 year old nurses out there - but if there are a lot, I think we should see what can be done to recruit more young people into nursing to give them some relief!

I also think that while the Queen's energy and devotion to serving is awe inspiring, she is aided in great ways by having a staff that takes care of most everything allowing her to simply show up and serve. So for those not doing everything she is, I would say that the realities of having to cook for themselves, not having a medical staff on call at any moment, etc are pretty good excuses for not doing everything she does!

She had Covid and kept working thru it all at 95.

She strong and all but taking a week or two to sleep, rest and recover (especially when you have an illness) doesn't negate all the hard work she's done since.

This is why the concept of "working hard" is so toxic nowadays. When will the world just stop and say its OKAY to take a break and rest? Working at a 100mph 24/7 is gonna drain you out. I'm all for working hard, but periodic rest is necessary to excel further.

The diplomatic reception on weds has just been postponed allegedly due to Ukraine. The Queen is said to have a sore throat and blocked nose let hope she feels better next week after more rest
