As the virus is mutating, the new variants are getting further from the original, targeted virus that the vaccine was created to prevent. This just goes to show that no matter how protected and isolated you are..you can still catch Covid. Live your lives! Hopefully she has a speedy recovery.
I was double vaxxed got my booster and two days later tested positive for Covid. I had extremely mild symptoms just congestion and one day of fatigued. Thankfully.
