I was looking for the wrong kind of picture, it wasn't three girls but two girls and two boys:

"Sarah is part of the royal baby boom of 1964, where four babies were born within weeks of each other: James Ogilvy, Prince Edward, Lady Helen Taylor (née Windsor) and Lady Sarah Chatto (née Armstrong-Jones) To celebrate their 21st birthday a big joint party was organised."

and this would have been when rationing was in place

A friend told me about a news story today that a British author (Mario Reading, who died in 2017) published a book back in 2005 that correctly predicted when QEII would die. She would have been about 78 or 79 when he predicted her death. His book has become a top seller these past few days since he has also more guesses regarding the monarchy -- the islands or other countries will leave the Commonwealth, Charles will eventually abdicate, etc. The news story is searchable on the web, the image is from a local news site.

Oy vey.

"Nostradamus quatrain 10/22 reads: “Because they disapproved of his divorce, A man who later they considered unworthy; The People will force out the King of the islands; A Man will replace who never expected to be king.”

In his 2005 book, Mario wrote: “This Quatrain will come as no surprise to the British people and it has wide implications. The first is that Queen Elizabeth will die, circa 2022, at the age of around 96, five years short of her mother’s term of life.”

Sadly, this prediction appears to have now come true, after The Queen passed away last week at the age of 96. Mario then goes on to claim the 10/22 Quatrain predicts that King Charles will abdicate because he is “weary at the persistent attacks on both himself and second wife” because of “resentments held against him by a certain proportion of the British population, following his divorce from Diana, Princess of Wales”.

However, the 2005 book concludes that it is Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex - a man who never expected to be King - who will become the next Monarch, instead of his brother William, the new Prince of Wales. Mario died in January 2017, so he did not live to see his interpretation of the Nostradamus quatrain, which he claimed predicted Queen Elizabeth would die in 2022, come true in part at least.

And it has made the headlines in recent days as the prediction about the abdication of King Charles re-emerged, as reported by WalesOnline. Now, his son, Laurie Reading, has expressed amazement at the response to his dad's work."

Seems to not have worked out that great for Earl Spencer seeing the woman he did marry abandoned her young children.
Are we talking about Diana's parents?

Because apparently that's not true, but rather was a tale Diana spun that she and her siblings were abandoned. Made for a bit of a sob story.

In reality, Frances tried to get custody but lost out to the father, John Spencer, 8th Earl Spencer.

King Charles’s replacement does not need to be Hazz. It could be Earl of Wessex, James, Andrew!!, Louis, etc. Hazz shouldn’t count on it imo.

According to this site, around 70% of the predictions have come true. Certainly, an admirable record. Still, there is room for error.

Yes, and the predictions are just vague enough that they can be applied to just about any event. So, "King of the Islands" could be the UK, or it could be the Cayman Islands or the Mariana Islands or one of the other 50 island nations in the world. Maybe he was referring to the tropical island kingdom of Chunga Changa? Harry can have that one.

He was a notorious rake not a very nice man at all his children were taken into the inner royal family by the Queen from an early age and it seems to have been the making of them
My dad hated him. He was in charge of the Investiture at Caernarfon Castle (his family lived nearby and that house is now a boutique hotel) That's why he had the title Earl of Snowdon, its not a family title and he is buried in a nearby church. Princess Margaret came here a lot to visit in the early days.
Anyway, back to why my dad hated him. He was working in setting up for the Investiture and Lord Snowdon told him off for stepping on the grass. He was nasty apparently.

That said, maybe to a 6yo child it does feel like abandonment, even if the mom did try to keep the children but ultimately had to walk away. I'd give Diana the benefit of the doubt here she didn't make it up for drama but really felt that way.

Yes, I recall that as well, no way was the mother going to keep the children in that circle, the titled father, the Earl would keep the kids.
Diana would have left then Prince Charles much sooner but she was afraid the Royal Family and Charles would keep the kids.
