Does anyone know what was the Queen's favorite perfume?

Penhaligon were her perfumers.

That kind of information would never be allowed to get out because 'By Appointment' warrant holders are not allowed to disclose and the Queen would never publicise.

However, they happen to do a scent that is called "The Favourite' and there are quite a few royal hints in the descriptions.

However, lily of the valley was known as one of her favourite flowers, as were old roses.

There is also a fragrance called aptly 'Elizebethan Rose'

and another 'Lily of the Valley'

It is only today that I read in the paper who of the German nobility was present at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
Prince Bernhard of Baden

In 2021, Bernhard was one of only 30 mourners at his great-uncle's funeral at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle
Bernhard, Hereditary Prince of Baden (Bernhard Max Friedrich August Gustav Louis Kraft; born 27 May 1970) is a German prince and heir to the head of the House of Baden.

Prince Bernhard was born in Schloss Salem, Salem, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, the eldest son of Maximilian, Margrave of Baden, and Archduchess Valerie of Austria.

Through his paternal grandmother, Princess Theodora, Bernhard was a great-nephew of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. The Duke often went to Germany to shoot with the family.

Bernhard is from the same region of Germany as I am = the former Grand Duchy of Baden. :)

Queen Margrethe of Denmark, 82, tests positive for Covid-19 - a day after she attended the Queen's funeral and rubbed shoulders with King Charles at the 'reception of the century'

  • Queen Margrethe of Denmark, 82, has tested positive for Covid-19
  • Attended Buckingham Palace reception, State Funeral and Committal Service
  • During reception, she was pictured chatting closely with King Charles
  • She was guest at the event with her son Crown Prince Frederik earlier this week

ETA: IMO all attendees took a health risk attending the funeral. That shows how much they loved Elizabeth II.

She was probably infectious already. It’s only 2 days since the funeral :shrugs:
