Then I vote for the Salsa Air!

The Salsa air is nice, the only issue that I had with it, that made me go with the deluxe, was the handle. It seemed a bit flimsy to me.

I agree. I didn't like the salsa air handle. The salsa deluxe is still pretty lightweight but seems much more sturdy.

Thanks so much for your insights! I'm gonna head down to the store sometime this weekend and check out the salsa line for sure then.

good question and we'll find out shortly it's lined with alpaca fur, same as the teddy; i was stroking the lining for a really long time waiting for his luggage being examined and nothing came off my fingers so hopefully, no shedding.

I feel like the brand deserves its own space on TPF somewhere (maybe contemporary?) because this travel forum is really about traveling "the hobby / practice," and not so much about travel brands.
