Maybe a gift certificate? Some frequent/heavy travelers are particular about their luggage (size, wheel options, interior layout, etc). Hope this helps from a fussy frequent traveler

I have two multiwheel carry ons by Rimowa. One is a salsa air and the other the regular topaz. I love how easily they glide over most surfaces and the quality in general. As a former management consultant I used the salsa air twice every week for around 1 and a half years. I prefer the Topaz nowadays, but it's heavier and depending on the contents I risk having to check it in.

Anyway, Rimowa is my number one luggage brand (followed by Tumi for their nylon pieces). I'm contemplating getting a large topaz for checked in luggage. But then again I saw so many badly dented ones on the luggage belts that I'm hesitating...

I have several luggages and also some of the Lufthansa edition which I really love. Quality is great, garantuee is 5 years, customer service is really good and the price is worth the quality.

I love my Rimowa. Took me a while to get used to the clamshell but once I started using packing cubes, it was easy (and the cubes really help to stay organized). With weight restrictions, it's great to have a bag that's so lightweight, it give you that many more pounds for stuff!

I have two of the navy salsa. One is the international approved carryon, the other is the 24. They have made multiple trips to Europe and unlike any other bag live to fly another day

I've had the Salsa Air in two sizes (one for carry on and one for check in) for two years and they still look nice and sturdy. I've not regretted the purchase at all.

I have the topas carryon, definitely the best piece of luggage I have ever owned. The quality of the wheels and engineering on them is just amazing, it barely takes any effort to push/pull and the strafing (ability to go sideways) is pretty much unmatched.
