My SA also said it was permanent - but he also said last time it was apparently permanent and then it got paused for 2 years. So, who knows! It should hopefully get restocked for a while at least though..

I tried on the ring and found it very comfortable - it's D shaped not round (not sure if that makes sense) so it's not as tight as a regular ring, has more "breathing room". And you can't "feel" the diamond even if the guilloche side is face down. The ring itself is also quite special as it is perlee.

After several options were sent to me and then sent back, today the perfect shade of red arrived. I am surprised and happy, since I had almost given up. All of the previous ones were more burgundy or brick red, and I wanted a bright/true red. In the future, I would not attempt to chose carnelian based on photos because it just does not photograph accurately in the boutique lighting and certainly not on the trays. My SA said that she could choose the best option if I sent her videos of the shade I want and let her select the best options, so that is what I did.

Finally back from shortening!!
Not going to stack all together on a regular basis, it's a little overkill :giggle: was already wearing the 2 sweet bracelets. It's hard to capture the shade of red on camera!

The guilloche is sooooo shiny. We need more RG guilloche!!

Also realizing that the VA carnelian is going to be much more of a fingerprint magnet than the sweet already is.

Congrats! It’s such a beautiful shade of red. I agreed about photos & videos not helping at all. I was going back & forth with my SA for an hour but ended up picking the one my SA chose as well, when I asked him to just pick the one that he thought is a true red in person for me to double check at the boutique. The one I thought looked best in photos look like a dark burgundy in person.

Yayyy so happy you finally found the one!! I am still waiting for mine to return from shortening. Why is it taking so long :annoyed::lol:

I agree, this was exactly my experience. The ones that looked the most true red to me were burgundy in real life. I was amazed when my SA showed me a photo of the bracelets I had sent back next to a selection of others, and they all looked very similar, but she stated that one in the bunch was more true red, and in fact it was an extremely different shade and just lovely when I saw it in person.

What a lovely stack! The guilloche is indeed so shiny, kind of make me hesitant to stack it with other bracelets as I don't want it to get scratched :doh:
