Mine came back from shortening after 2 weeks. In the sun, I think it looks like a darker red. In indoor fluorescent lighting, it can be quite dark

Based on my SA’s recommendation I went down 1 size from my standard US size. I don’t own any other VCA rings, so I cannot compare it within the brand. I would note that the reversible ring requires a push to make it over my knuckle and sits comfortably, if not a little loosely, around my finger. If my knuckle weren’t a bit larger (odd thing, only on this one finger) I might have needed to go down two sizes. I hope that helps!
Thanks!! I have a larger knuckle too and a problem I have is that rings that are too heavy will turn/rotate on me so that the top moves to the side. I worry about that with this one. Have you found that to be the case?
I understand what you mean about rotating but I don’t think it will be a problem with this ring. First, the Alhambra motif isn’t very heavy. Second, there isn’t a significant gap between the motif and the finger. I will wear it on my right hand. The ring finger on my right hand is about 1/4 size larger than the ring finger on my left hand. I am wearing the ring on my left hand as I type and it is not moving. I tried to take pictures to illustrate the gap. Hope it helps your decision!

Almost two months with the RG and Carnelian and I’m still amazed by how beautiful it looks
oh the rose gold guilloche carnalian is really so pretty! Just wondering whether is it a difficult piece to get in the boutique if I just drop by? I’m seeing it appear on the website (which a few days ago was not) and was wondering whether I should buy it online… or wait until I go to Tokyo? Do you think I’ll find it in Tokyo?
I don't think it is difficult to get but for me, it was a matter of getting the right shade of red. I did not take the 5 motif bracelet when it relaunched in early June as a lot of the Carnelian stones had a brown undertone. But when I returned to the store sometime in July, there was one to my liking. It will really depends on what shade of red you are after.
Hi everyone! I just made my first carnelian purchase - the 20 motif in this absolutely beautiful collection. I would love to get your thoughts on the color of the carnelian on this piece please

I went ahead and bought it since she said the color on this piece is really nice in her opinion and I agreed (especially after seeing the bracelet)! After going through this thread I do wish I did a bittt more comparison though so I wanted to get all you carnelian experts’ thoughts on the color…especially since there’s such a huge variation in how it looks under different lighting!
