This was the only piece in the store, so my SA brought out a bracelet for me to compare but the color on that was obviously lighter + full orange. I went ahead and bought it since she said the color on this piece is really nice in her opinion and I agreed (especially after seeing the bracelet)! After going through this thread I do wish I did a bittt more comparison though so I wanted to get all you carnelian experts’ thoughts on the color…especially since there’s such a huge variation in how it looks under different lighting!

Hi @viewwing ! Yes, I'm still loving this bracelet! I love the combination of gold and carnelian as I think it offers something extra compared to the blue agate one that I have. I think if you love to stack bracelets, you have to be mindful that you shouldn't stack this one as the Guilloche can get scratched and the scratches cannot be polished off. For my blue agate bracelet (my first VCA piece), I generally stack it with one with 1 bangle these days (in the past, I used to stack it with a watch and Cartier silk cord bracelet too, LOL) but I will never stack this bracelet with anything

In the future, I would not attempt to chose carnelian based on photos because it just does not photograph accurately in the boutique lighting and certainly not on the trays. My SA said that she could choose the best option if I sent her videos of the shade I want and let her select the best options, so that is what I did.

I want to get another Alhambra bracelet to stack with the RG guilloche &carnelian bracelet and was actually thinking maybe with a tiger eye or the blue agate- do you wear them stacked together often? How do you find the look mixing rose gold and gold? Would you be so kind to share a few more pics of the tiger eye and RG guilloche carnelian stacked together?

Hello, I am usually pretty carefree, but I don't stack anything with guilloche. Here are some photos I had on my phone for tigers eye trying on with carnelian/guilloche and and with lapis (similar to blue agate).
