Resellers getting Chanel items first and selling for premium

What’s the saying “All press is good press”. If I was one of these YouTubers/Reseller/Handbag hoes I would love how much attention I receive here.
I wonder what the ratio is? For every post, how many people go watch a video? The next person who mentions CC has to sell
a bag from their personal collection at 1/2 retail.

I thought I was the only one who felt that it was too soon for her to push these pet ads surrounding her new puppy. Like give yourself a chance to enjoy him instead of trying to monetize. A lot of people were also turned off by her Farfetch video where she was encouraging her followers to spend a certain amount in order to have access to Celine and other brands.
In regards to the puppy thing I'd rather see Bryan Boy. Who occasionally shows his pup, never does ads, then made a tongue in cheek comment about fendi and that his dog is now better dressed than him. It feels like Wade has to actually work for a living instead of being a pet.

This also reminds me of Pet Stars. It's on netflix and if you haven't watched it you should. The owner of an animal agency realised that there were no hot insta amphibians, bought one and plugged it the first chance she had.

I almost forgot about the ff thing but saw that as a normal plug. From the comments on that video I got that enough of her followers are wise enough to not just go on a random spending spree to get acces to Celine. And although I love her bucketbag, Coach has an amazing lookalike for a fraction of the price.

Actually I’ve seen a bunch of these “resellers” in the groups are selling REALLY good superfakes. I think some of them are friends with the admins, one in particular claims to be an expert authenticator yet this person let’s these superfakes from her friends/ people they’re cool with fly. And since the admin says they’re “authentic” they person buying at a steep premium doesn’t bat an eyelash. I won’t name any names (not trying to catch a lawsuit lol!) but quite a few people have been scammed this way and if they try to speak out or make a post about a well loved reseller who sold them a fake, it doesn’t get approved and they get threatened with a lawsuit. I know there are good sellers and people just trying to sell items they don’t want but I don’t trust any of those fb groups.

I’m with you on reporting those groups and “resellers”

I would love to know which group and admin you’re referring too. I follow a bunch and really trust some of the admins. I hope it’s not one of the main one I’m in. I’ll pm you

I agree! I wish YouTuber or Vlogger just be upfront. IF they have a side gig as personal shopper just stated it. I used to love her videos but since the purchase of b30 I just felt something is off. Plus less than a year she got an SO offer. In addition as to many points point out by others she was doing Hampton mini vacation, leasing a new car, buying a puppy, house renovation etc. than there was the issue Alyssa was vocal in support of blackLives matter n how one company she works with Arit** is not supportive so she was alluding she wants to stop working with the company.. but I guess that didn’t happen.. I used to like her n enjoy her vlogs but not so much anymore

The SO was a solid three months. End of januari she git the birthday B, end of april she announced the SO offer.

It might be different because of the pandemic or because she has a blog, and I'm not saying that that is unique but you don't hear other people getting an so in that amount of time.

This is my frustration with reseller. I have to reserve (if I’m able) months in advance. What if I don’t like the items I reserve and I want to return it? I know some SAs (beside boutiques) still works off mainly commissions. I hate to bring up that I need to return an item that could potentially effect their paycheck for that month to take home

If it's an desired item then another customer will buy it and no commission is endangered.

Actually, I've seen sooooo many unboxings by the youtubers for the birkin in the past year. There was speculations for sure that it's the social media status and the subscriber count. Alyssa did address that her SA didn't know at first from the birkin offer and I think lot of people in general were getting offered birkins because Hermes wants to profit during covid. Her second SO probably did have something to do with her job as an influencer. I don't dislike her for it, I dislike corporates more.

The sudden orange boom was certainly a thing. That could have multiple reasons. Chanel is creeping up on Hermes prices so the jump is less scary. Or in the case of some youtubers it could be the pandemic. Save a lot by not traveling and it might be easier to get a coveted bag from a story that is usually a tourist hotspot.

I also think that sa's know what some people are doing for a living. Tamara once said in one of her video's that an sa walked by, asked her if she wanted a bag and that she didn't need her name because she knew who she was. I think it's hard to believe that somebody who works for for a luxury house is not in the know about a client with a luxury channel.

Right? Especially so many SAs are also becoming social media savvy and score lot of sales and clients that way too.

Absolutely flabbergasted that these accusations are being thrown about with no evidence. Is this really what TPF has come to? Where's the proof of superfakes being authenticated as "real" and sliding by her because the seller is tight with the admin? She has "cult-like" praise because she is truly the best of the best, having insider info to check authenticity of items, and does this for free (yes she has an authentication business as well but she has helped hundreds if not thousands for nothing but gratitude through her FB presence.)

Please do reply with SOME proof before tarnishing her name (virtually everyone here knows who's being referred to). Look forward to it

I agree with you 100% It is totally wrong to make such an accusation without any proof at all!! She is a wonderful person and very giving of her time, and I would hate to see her reputation tarnished.
