The powder idea seems like it makes sense. One of the problems with liquid cleaner on the 05 bags, is that the darkened handles tend to get darker when they get wet. Seems like the liquid cleaners might be making the leeching worse at times. If the darkening is coming from within, as some believe, liquid cleaners would seem to be a bad idea.
I'm very tempted to try this.. Thanks for sharing.

I paid for an order on the 6th April and I had notification that it was shipped ...but now nothing!
I have emailed LMB twice asking for a tracking number but I have not had a reply.
I paid via paypal and I'm thinking if I don't get a response re a tracking number or get a delivery soon I will have to try and get my money back?

I ordered from them last year and two years before that. I live in Greece. Both times communication was great until I placed the order via Paypal and paid. After that I had to send one email after another in order to get a Tracking number and mind you as I had emailed Barbara in the past I made the arrangements with her. I love the products but it took more than two weeks to get them and I had another issue. Although the money was withdrawn from Paypal and my bank account, on paypal it said I had to make the payment again? Anyway, I didn’t as the money was withdrawn from the bank. The products arrived late but well packaged as always but I also didn’t know if I were going to receive them ever. I would advise to contact Barbara and try to figure out what has happened. And of course update us. Good luck!
Thank you! Yes I had the same issue regarding PayPal payment, I made the payment then it asked me to make it again..I ignored this request too! It took a week for them to actually ship the products, an email from Barbara then asking if my address was correct as I have just a house name and no number and it was confusing the US postal system. Nothing since then and it's been three and a half weeks! I might have to ring them if i don't hear by the end of this week. I'll let you know how I get on but thank you so much for your reply x
You are so welcome. It seems they follow the same tactics everywhere and that is not good. If I had made the second payment I would have to deal with Paypal and disputes a.s.o. I never expected LMB being like that. I don’t really know who is the actual person who replies the enails but they are unprofessional and I don’t like that. I am shopping from sites all over the world and have never been that disappointed. Can’t wait for your news. I hope you receive your order soon and all this to belong to the past xx
I had a brief email 5 days ago stating they would get the tracking uploaded to my file...but they haven't. I will start a paypal dispute on friday for item not received
then it will have been 5 weeks since I placed the order with no idea where it might be.This is so unacceptable. I can’t believe how and why they ignore buyers. I am never ordering again and this is so sad because the products are good but the service is unbelievable. You do what you have to do. Five weeks is a long time. It has never taken so long for something to ship from anywhere in the world. I would do the same too. File a complaint with Paypal and there is a chance they reply hopefully with a tracking number or some explanation. Hello guys, I just got my mini city preloved. The leather is looking a little too distressed for my taste. I’ve already tried conditioning it but it still looks very ‘veiny’. I’m not sure if I’ve got a bad batch as I’ve read from other threads or if products such as black leather polish can help? Thank you in advance.
P.s. Although the bag looks very black overall, the color within the veins looks faded causing it to look more beat up than it actually is. (I’m not sure if this make sense, if not, please see the photo attached)

I think this is the normal color of the bag, it is not faded. I have the same in silver hw however mine is saturated within the veins of the distressed leather. If that bothers you as some leathers are like yours and others like mine, you could use a lot of Leather Honey to try to saturate the veins. This is oily conditioner for leather items. You just have to apply one layer, wait for it to be absorbed for maybe one day, then if you are not satisfied you apply another and so on. But not too much cause you don't want to make the leather sticky.
