Regret selling your B bag?

 Me too, Kates!!!! I can't believe I forgot about my FB City.......still kicking myself on that one. But a sweet pf'er has it now and loves it! It had the most insane leather!!!! And I got it under retail from erica.......why did I let that bag go!

i am glad to know i am not alone! mine also went to a wonderful pf'er and so it lessons the sting! oh why do we do this to ourselves? lol....

I am here strictly to support you guys, and to read all your stories so I don't make the same mistake myself. I have only been a Bal owner for a year, and I have purchased 23 bags. Today I own 11, so that is 12 I have sold without regret. I don't sell them right away, and that is mostly because of my pf friends. When I was a newbie and I had gotten a bag I was not sure of, I got great advice to not sell it right away, and give myself a chance to figure things out. Now I usually live by the 2 month rule. I won't sell anything sooner than that, and it has turned out if I didn't us a bag after 2 months, it was the right decision to let it go.

I have no regrets but I do miss some bags I have sold. It takes me a life time to make a final decision before I part!!! I am always POSITIVE when I let one of my bags go~ or else I know I'd have sellers remorse big time!!!!!

I only started regretting my ink work lately. I sold it last year. I wanted an ink city back then couldn't find the right leather/tone so I ended up with an ink day but that was all wrong tonewise so I sold it too.
My ink work had really great leather and wonderful undertones...:crybaby:

i have yet to sell any of my bags (bbags or others) since i get very attached to each and everyone one of them

but i do have a question for those who sell... do you sell/trade your items on marketplace or do you sell them on ebay?

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT TO SOLICIT SALES.

I am in such a quandry. I am feeling a bit tired of Balenciaga (just because I have so many...I am up to 15 and only consistently use a few on a regular basis; the rest I wear once in a blue moon to go with an outfit or have yet to even wear them at all). I am intriqued by the Hermes Kelly.......however in order to fund this bag, I would have to let go of some B-bags. Two questions: 1. how do you decide which baby to give up when you have so many bags you love but never use, and 2. will I be kicking myself in a few weeks, a few months, etc., since I do not really care for the newer B-bags? :confused1: Does anyone here own a Hermes Kelly? Is it worth losing several b-bags over? I only own the Hermes All Leather Garden Tote and a twilly so as you can see, I am relatively new to Hermes.

TIA for your thoughts!!

I haven't sold bbags to get another bag, i sold them because either I wasn't wearing them enough and/or they were wrong for me. I think that having a rounded collection that includes many brands is much more fun. Go for the Kelly, it's such a classic. Trying to figure which bbags should go is hard though. Do not keep any just because they are rare, though... Keep about half of them, the ones you really use, and you'll still have a good bal collection. I'm much more pleased with my collection of 6 bals rather than when I had 13 at once... kwim?

Hi becca,
I lately bought a Hermes herbag in bordeaux brown. :yahoo:
I did see a picture of a herbag and diceded that i could not live without it.
I did wear it two times in 3 weeks now i think. Its the kelly herbag 38 cm.
I want a Big Birkin in future but then i have to sell my complete collenction to buy one.
Or i have to go and work as an escort or something like that. :roflmfao:LOL :roflmfao:But i wont do that.
Good Luck deciding Hugs FX:heart:

The Kelly is a very different style from BBags. My DH thinks Kellys look too formal and aging on me, so I went for Birkins instead – more in line with the casual BBags style I like.

How do I decide which bbag must go? I have a difficult time deciding too, but it helps if there is any reason I am not using the bbag. For example as much as I loved my red bbag, I was still afraid of stains. Also I had two of the same color, so even though I was in love with it, I sold it. As a rule, I try to sell ones off that I am scared to use because of the lighter color or because of its rarity.
