I just bought two scarves at a thrift store and was assured of authenticity on the authentication thread. Now I'd like to find out a little bit more about these scarves, this seems to be the place. The scarves are called Harnais des Presidents (green border) and Les Voitures A Transformation (blue border). TIA

Hello everyone,

I'm new here, been lurking for a while though:graucho:, (mostly in the Which-scarf-are-you-wearing-today thread) and seeing all these beautiful people with such magnificent scarfs make me feel so happy! I've been a scarf collector for awhile, but I've never owned a Hermes scarf myself. Until last weekend I bought one from a sweet old lady at a fair. Now I'm wondering what's the name of this scarf. You guys are so knowledgeable and I admire all your beautiful scarfs so much! I'm hoping anyone could provide me with some info on this one. I don't know if it's the right place to post this, otherwise I'd love to hear! I'm truly a newbie and don't know if it's even authentic, but I like the design very much and I'm loving it anyway!:yahoo:

So thanks in advance!

I found this darling at the HK airport, Trou de Memoire. Am very intrigued by the laser-cut holes in the scarf. Can anyone share more info, like year, artist etc?

all I remember is that that title is actually a pun, "a hole in the memory" means literally, it is from 2006 and the designer is Bali Barret

This looks real and very old, with the scalloped jacquard, you scored a great one! Unfortunately I do not know the title

Provcoll, Thanks! It's really an odd scarf, I can't find anything about it in scarf databases. And Google left me blank too! I'm new to the world of H scarves, I have quite a couple other scarves, but H is just so different. Very beautifull.. I think I'm hooked..

I am puzzled by a Cavaliers d'or.

Was this ever released in brown/gold tones? Is the copyright symbol bottom centre (under Hermes Paris) or bottom left in the ribbon? And is the artist's signature bottom right but just RYBAL or on the ribbon bottom right?

Can anyone confirm?

There was a brown issue; don't know if it was original or reissue. I have seen signature both ways.

Dear All,

There seems to have been a run of Tohu Bohu silks on Ebay recently, especially in blues, something I hadn't seen before.

Can anyone suggest where I might find the definitive list of colourways of TB's? (especially blues). Scarf Catalogue only has one blue colour but there seems to be more. Are there as many variations as the black?

So many questions - any answers appreciated!:yahoo:

I just found a L'Instruction du Roy (jacquard) in a red/white/blue cw at an estate sale :yahoo: It has the correct markings, care label, etc. and is in fantastic shape for having been wadded up in a box full of dish towels!

Can anyone tell me the year of issue? Can't seem to find this cw in any online database. Thanks!

Hello clutchbag,

I´m not an expert, but I think this one is from 1993, artist is Henri d'Origny.
But again, I´m not an expert. It´s a beautiful scarf though..

Rosekirk, I think there is a TohuBohu thread, but I couldn't begin to tell you where. Sorry.
