Hi LaurieAnn - I had the my orange bolduc scarf sent to Paris and pleated last year. I think it took something like 3-4 months (from Sydney). It looks great - like if I bought it pleated in the first place.

Can't quite remember how much it was but I had to make sure it did not have any stains on it. My H store told me where to get it hand dry cleaned to remove a small spot. Paris apparently refuse to pleat scarves that are not perfect and will send it back untouched.

Hope this helps and good luck on your pleating...

:crybaby:My very sentimental 15-year-old Hermes mostly brown-on-white background silk scarf depicting walking sticks and riding grips was stolen recently. Am desperately trying to replace it but have no idea what its official name is or where I might find out. Can anyone help me? Thanks so much!

It could be
Cannes et Pommeaux - sticks arranged in a circle - sticking out
or Clic Clac - riding crop

could you please define a riding grip ?

Hi, can any of you tell me what this pattern is? It's a handpainted shawl that I purchased at Hermes NYC in about 1998 - 1999. It has the word "arabesques" but when I look up that word it doesnt' bring up anything that looks like my shawl on the web! It is super duper sheer so hard to photograph (I had to put it on the bare wood of my dining room table to give it depth). It has an interesting effect, which the camera picks up more in the second pic, of reflecting red off the orange surface. Thanks so much for your help!

Oh, one more thing about my above shawl, it is silk, not cotton. Since it's thin and chiffonesque, would it be mousseline? Wish I had been paying closer attention when I purchased it in NY! Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'm interested in getting a "La Promenade de Longchamps" by Ledoux for my mom on Mother's Day, but I also realize that it's a widely faked version.

Does anyone have a "La Promenade de Longchamps" in navy blue? I have a few questions about it:

1) Is it supposed to have a trademark with encircled C?

2)Is the care tag printed (not sewn) with the words: 100% silk, commercial dry clean only?

Hello. The copyright on the Bride de Cour in in the center with title. Sorry for the delay but I just got it back from being repaired. I appreciate your assistance in this matter.

tell me which copyright
1. might be in center with title
2. or on the buckles on the borders, or on leather straps , or both mid way up the scarf (from top to bottom)
