^^ My notes say first issue was fall/winter 1990, reissue Spring/Summer 1993. Does anyone know if that is correct?

I don't know about the reissue date, but Chapeau is an Annie Faivre scarf that was first issued as you said in 1990. There is a monkey on the ball being held by a woman in the left hand corner. Faivre, as you probably know, is famous for the monkeys on most of her scarves.

No one knows for sure, never mentioned in magazine articles. 20 years ago, they made 700,000 per year, so if they made 10 designs and 10 cws each, that's 7000 scarves per cw - but that's a total guess

Special issues are typically 100-200 scarves per cw

:confused1:

Hello All,

Was wondering if anyone could help with regards to the number of scraves produced per design in each colorway?

Thanks!

Caring for your scarves

I know there's been some discussion on this, but I wanted to bring up the topic again. I would like to hear how you all wash your scarves. I've gotten a silk wash, which I love, wash my scarves in lukewarm water, dry them on rack, and them steam them to remove wrinkles. Lately I've been wondering about spraying a little starch on the wrong side. Has anyone ever done this, or am I thinking crazy thoughts again?
