There is a scarf I saw in a post lastnight...orange/fuschia hues and a bit of an abstract rough paintbrush strokes that seem to outline an eiffel tower... Anyone know what I am talking about?

Also, is the les triples no longer available in stores? was it made in the turquoise colourway? If no longer available, how much would you connoisseurs value it at?

And...what colourways was the courbettes made in?

And (last one I promise!!!) what is the name/date of a scarf that was designed by karine swindens - looks to be of birds/arabian daggers? What were the issued colourways for this?

None of those scarves is currently in the stores

Eiffel Tower - la Tour Eiffel s' Envole = the Eiffelt Tower flies away

I see that Marie answered this. Its from 2004

yes, it was made in what people would call turquoise. I see it sell for retail and over when it's in a desired colorway

Lots. Yellow, gunmetal grey, kaki, 3 different blue colorways, pink, gold, brown, etc.

Swildens made at least 3 different designs but the one you are thinkng of is RHYTONS (ancient Greek libation cups). from 1975. It came in brown, olive, orange, grey, white, blue. Sorry but I never paid much attention to the CWs

Thanks so much Seton! You were so helpful given my skeletal information! did the courbettes come in a pale purple shade? And did the rhytons come in a bright purple/fuschia shade?

Thanks again! :)

Hello All! I am loving my Ex Libres. The colors just POP.
Can someone please tell me about the following scarf? I just bought it but havent received it yet.
Thanking you in advance...Margie

I bought a nice scarf off ebay that had a care tag with the letter A on either side (they mentioned it was loose). After the sale, they told me the care tag actually came off and they sent another spare tag with the scarf. When I expressed my disappointment, they told me that they know many collectors believe the "urban legend" about the expert rouletress and the initial on the side of care tag and that Hermes has stated it is to identify dye lots, not people. They offered a refund so that's cool but i'm wondering what do you gals think? Is it really just to identify dye lots?

Noone really knows what those letters stand for but yes, the one attributing the letters to individual rouletresses is a bit of an urban myth. I heard that it corresponds to the various factory where the tags are sewn but am not 100% sure
