Totally agree. For that I could probably by the entire line for what a bag previously cost, I just want it to be decent. At least with cheaper materials, odds are it won't be as delicate and won't require dry cleaning. Those two things stopped me from buying most RTW lines as I'm a klutz.

Starting to get really excited. Can't wait for April.

Needs to recoup costs for the Coach lawsuit, I guess?

It'll broaden the spectrum of people buying because of the lower costs. I can see some corners cut, like the belt on the Boxer, but the line seems reasonably priced for what it is. I'm not tempted by the bags; I'll stick with my leather ones, but I definitely want the mini bag charms (so smitten) and will check out some of the clothes.

It is. I have an RK40s and two micro Boxers. I love the styling and design of the Boxer, but the feel of RK40s is amazing and I love its suede lining. Those bags have me spoiled on all other bags.

How do you know it's cheaper materials (I mean, aside from the fact that it's being sold at Kohl's, which means it's gotta be a much lower price point so it must be)? I couldn't click on anything - there are no descriptions of what the items are actually made of.

Also, so now someone on the street will see my Reed Krakoff bag and assume it's a Reed bag?? Not sure I like that. I wish the items were a little bit more different - they're almost exact copies of past season bags.

I am basing it off these bags listed on ebay which are listed as REED by Reed Krakoff. I am not sure how these bags are already on ebay since they haven't been released yet. I do not like that they are the exact same silhouettes but alas whatever.

He's talked about the materials. They're supposed to be technical leather, or laminated canvas. :-s

I don't mind people assuming it's a Kohl's bag; I honestly don't think others care that much and if they do happen to pass judgement beyond "nice purse," that's on them, not me.

I do wish I'd seen more new designs though. It would be nice to see some additional creativity from him. Hopefully, he'll wind up heading another place. I think Banana Republic is going through some changes. I'd love to see what he'd do there.

Agree - I really don't like that my expensive bags look so close to these and have the same name. It will also muddy up the resale market.
