Oooh, I want that simply adorable! I've been wanting an SOG to replace my revlon pink chiffon, and this is looking close. Am I right in that it is opaque and not that sheer after 2 coats?

My Ulta didnt' even have the old colors very well-stocked, which is par for the course. They tend to keep the shelves half-empty of everything in the darn store!

Im kinda ticked that they didnt have them. I figured that the stores around the chicago land area would be the first to get the new colors since we are close to there warehouse and headquarters but half the time I think they have them but dont bother to put them out till the new ads come out

I just realized that I mislabeled the number of coats. It was 3 to get all the streaks out on the clear swatch stick. But yes you are correct it is a completely opaque cream.

Honestly, I think my Ulta is breaking the rules. I went to another location earlier today and a very rude SA informed me that the new RCM had to stay in the back room until the ad came out on the 18th or she would get in trouble. I think that the SA I asked at my normal store was probably new and didn't know she wasn't supposed to. My location still hasn't gotten the 4 LE either.

You know, as a former sales associate (and assistant manager and store manager) in retail, there is just NO excuse for rudeness. Telling a customer "no" is one thing, and perfectly acceptable if you aren't supposed to do something or it just can't be done, but there is no need to be rude about it. I just won't patronize somewhere that has staff like that at all because its just not acceptable imho.

See I dont think there is really a rule though because if there was then why would RCM say that they were avalible in stores yesterday, also ulta is already selling the colors on their own website! I think ulta just does that as a ploy to get people into their stores to buy things that they didnt come there to get orgininally. Its like they get you in and dont have what you want and of course you look around and find something else to buy that you wouldnt have if they had what you came for (if that makes sense). My ulta does it all the time when RCM first came out they had it in the ad for weeks but didnt have it in the store, and they have done it before with other new products.I think sometimes they are just so slow on setting up new things also/ It drives me nuts. The SA that I spoke with today was a little rude as well I think most are just to lazy to go in back and check I think its just a matter of who you get. The new ad should be coming out next sunday so I am going to go back then

RCM posted that the 4 LE would be in store this weekend and the rest on the 18th (a Sunday). I don't know if it is a ploy and much as a lack of organization and training on Ulta's part.... Not to mention I think it varies greatly based on the location and store manager. I am so sorry you have had so many problems with your store :-(. I hope that hey get them in soon!

I agree 100%. Funny enough I was actually an Ulta associate almost 15 years ago, and I was also a makeup artist at a major department store for many years. I wouldn't have ever thought to treat a costumer the way I was treated. I definitely won't be going back to that location.

Maybe just try calling a few times a week? Obviously several stores have been getting them in, so I guess it just depends on if the SA's at your store have been told not to put them out.

You don't look old enough to be doing any career 15 years ago. The older I get, the younger everyone else looks, I guess. To me, you look to be in your mid 20s.
