Thanks for the nice pics. I wonder if anyone has compared Simply Stunning with ACG Posh, it looks similar. I think that simply stunning was missing when I brought my swatches to ULTA to do comparisons.

Thanks I tried my best to take good quality photos, and capture the true colors as much as possible.I have some gelish ones too thatI am going to add soon (including the 3 new ones they came out with for supporting breast cancer awareness). I had the same issue with simplystunning I kept checking back and finally after a few weeks they had it so I snatched it up as fast as possible :p

I'm really thinking it looks like Posh and I don't want another neutral, but I went back and that was indeed one of the few colors that was missing at the launch at my Ulta.

I got the LED light and maybe my curing time is off, but I noticed that with the LED I have to be more careful with my nails after curing and with the UV light, I don't. I've had to redo a few nails because of the polish rubbing off when I take the alcohol to remove the tacky residue.

Hi all! My first post!!
Ok...this may also have been answered but, I am having trouble with :You like me..u really like me curing properly.. I have the pro45 lamp now and I used 3 cures per coat and though: should b good to go....then I used brilliance on top and it took some red color on the brush and now its in my brilliance bottle!! I also have a 36 watt uv lamp and even with that lamp I always triple cure each coat since I know darker colors are more stubborn!!! I hate to return it to the store cause I feel it may happen again and wouldn't want the sales clerks putting out on the shelf again (and have someone buy it..yikes)
My question is: do you ladies have a top coat for light colors and another for the dark colors? I am thinking of buying one specifically for my light colors!! Any advice is welcome!!

Some of the dark colors do this. You have to be careful to float the topcoat on and be sure you aren't going so thin you are dragging the brush through the sticky layer of your color coats. If I do get any color transfer though I just wipe my topcoat brush clean with a paper towel. My RCM midnight affair does this.

Thanks for the feedback!!! I will be getting black cherry berry from gelish soon in the mail and I will try what u said!!! It's weird though cause I had done my mani with that color 3 times now and only last time it did it!! I think I am not properly curing the nail because I am holding fingers at weird level...who knows!! Can't wait to re-do!! Plus it was my first time with the led pro45 lamp and I was too concious of not touching my fingers to the sides and I kept moving em...could b why!
The other thing is, I only noticed when I tried to re-dip my brush in brilliance and saw the red flowing in bottle(at which point it was too late...that's why I am really considering a new top coat just for light colors now....

Just and observation. I now am convinced that Gelish and Red Carpet Manicure are the same. RCM has a web site and it lists their 32 colors with a color chart. The color chart has freakishly the same icons as the ones for Gelish. Upon closer inspection, there are small distinctions in the "shine mark" of a lot of the color swatch/icons/circles. If you compare to what you figure is a similar color or the same color from the Gelish color chart, they have the exact distinctive shapes in the "shine mark". They are exactly the same No company would use the color chart of another company unless they were the same company.

Not all colors are available from each brand, however I believe the product is identical.

I think it's good news. Colors are less expensive at Ulta and there is always a discount coupon. I also really like the Remover. I feel it is much kinder and gentler than pure Acetone and works as well or even better.

RCM 9 in Heels 3x and Gelish Ali Baba'sSim Sala Bim 1x.
I am posting this on RCM and Gelish threads.

I confirmed today that it is the same color, posted on the dupes thread...but thought I should put it here as an afterthought.

It was talked about at some point a while back that they were owned by the same person/parent company. ACG has dupes for RCM/gelish also, so they really all seem to be related somehow.

I believe H&NH is the "parent" for Gelish, ACG and RCM. Not bad considering they've "cornered the market" of the home consumber by placing product in both Sallys and Ulta.

Actually, I think they are marketed somewhat differently. RCM is directly marketed to consumers, Gelish is sold at Sally's but is for professionals only (wink, wink, nod, nod) and ACG still is sold through professional outlets.
