So can the RCM structure and color be used with the gelish foundation and TIO?? Has someone made a flow chart for this?? (Hint hint Ferret...since you already have the UV v LED chart... ;) ).

That is Just RCM's basecoat, so you wouldn't need Gelish basecoat if you were using RCM Structure. It's not the same ad Gelish's Structure meant to add more strength.

Thanks for the nice pics. I wonder if anyone has compared Simply Stunning with ACG Posh, it looks similar. I think that simply stunning was missing when I brought my swatches to ULTA to do comparisons.

They are really good pics .... I've had my eye on Simply Stunning too and was wondering, there's not really a Gelish dupe for that is there?

Can someone tell me the Gelish dupes for some of the darker reds of Red Carpet, please? I like the Gelish colors Elegant Wish, Rose Garden, Red Roses, and Stand Out. Does anyone know the equivilants for these in Red Carpet? Also is Sweet Chocolate the same as Toast of the Town, or different? And are they close to Fedora in Shellac? Thanks in advance!

I have Simply Stunning also, and as far as I can tell there isn't a dupe out there. It is a really fabulous color.... I think it is probably my favorite neutral.

Just make sure to lay your hand flat in the light. But don't press you fingers down, just rest it there flat. See if that helps. I always had a couple wayward nails that lifted in the tips until I started using a bonder on my tips. You could try that also.

What bonder do you use? Do you mean the RCM "prep" step or do you use a something different? When would you apply this? (after the cleanser but before the RCM "Prep" or after the prep?) I have done a few RCM manicures now and did have some issues with lifting, I think it is mainly user error, but I am getting better each time! The second time I tried using Orly's bonder, that manicure lifted within days.

I assume I should only use products intended for gel manicures?

I have very thin flexible nails so the strength provided by SOG is a godsend! I used to chip my manicure within 24 hours, the first shellac manicure I got at the salon lasted 2 weeks beautifully and I would love to be able to recreate that as a DIYer. Any tips would be appreciated, I am a SOG newbie but am already obsessed.

Sweet chocolate and toast of the town ate dupes I believe. Check the dupes list in my signature to be sure. I'm not sure of all the RCM color names! Lol.

Fedora is a dark brown creme and I don't know of a dupe for it though.

I use a bonder my friend who is a nail tech gave me when my bottle of gelish Pro Bond hit the floor and broke. It's the same ingredients basically though. I also have used IBD bonder which worked well.

I believe RCM prep is just a dehydrator like gelish PH bond, but someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not as up on the RCM basics since I started with gelish and nearly a year later still have plenty left in my base and topcoat! Lol

After looking at my friends Gelish bottles, we believe...

Gelish Red Roses = RCM Red Carpet Reddy
Gelish Standout = RCM You Like Me, You Really Like Me
Gelish Sweet Chocolate = RCM Toast of the Town

We found no RCM versions of Elegant Wish or Rose Garden. We swatched two coats of RCM Thank You, Thank You with one coat of RCM Best Dressed and it gave us a pretty vampy shimmer, but still not the same as Elegant Wish.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Glossyglam. Just what I needed.

Thanks Ferret, I didn't notice your dupes list in your signature. Just what I was looking for. If anyone finds any others, I like to know of more. Thanks!

There is also a SOG Dupes thread. I try to keep the list updated, but sometimes I get behind so you might want to check out that list and subscribe too, to find out dupes
