hey flipdiver! does that mean that saks and nm doesn't really package like how they do at the boutiques? I just bought my jumbo and all it came in was a chanel box with the dustbag(which i don't like compared to the quality of Louis vuitton's.) No white ribbons like i've seen in other's photos and no camelliaI thought it was just my SA but is it always like that? only freebies at the boutique?

He was AMAZING to work with - I just made my first Chanel bag purchase and he went above and beyond to help make my first experience awesome, and got me the ultimate HG black caviar jumbo ghw!!! I know...makes me sad because my favorite SAs are at Bloomies! Every now and then, I go to the boutique to get the camellia and the Chanel bag - can't get that at Bloomies either! I take my lovelies out of the store in my Big Brown Bag - ew!
I found the SA's in London to be particularly snobbish and even the Chanel on rue royale in Paris were inpatient even tho they were all standing around with nothing to do. But rue cambon had the nicest SA I've ever dealt with, even better than my own SA in SCP. Fares was not pushy and he was kind enough to explain the VAT refund. He even stock checked the other boutiques for a clutch he didn't have.
I highly recommend Derek Dugger at Saks Indiana. He is great, knowledgeable and responds quickly. His email is [email protected]. I've bought a couple of bags from him and was very satisfied. He will search if they don't have what you want in stock.
Bonnie is great! At first the item I wanted wasn't in, but lo and behold it came in and she called me. She sent me a pic when I requested it and wants me to call her when I receive it so we can go over how to shorten the straps, etc.

There's no Chanel bags in Saks and Bloomies Chicago. Both NM and boutique are well stocked, sometimes their merchandises will be completely different as well, so you get more variationsLook for Yara and Karyn in the boutique, and Cliff and Lisa in NM, they'll surely help you!
