from what i know, you can order, pay and collect when you are there. Not sure if this is consider a pre-order cause u actually pay for the item just collecting it later.

I'm going to Chicago in a few months. I don't know if I should hit up the Chanel boutique and one or two other places who carry Chanel. Neimans, Saks, Bloomies....does anyone know which places generally have the best merchandise and SA's? TIA!

There's no Chanel bags in Saks and Bloomies Chicago. Both NM and boutique are well stocked, sometimes their merchandises will be completely different as well, so you get more variations Look for Yara and Karyn in the boutique, and Cliff and Lisa in NM, they'll surely help you!

The best Chanel sales person ever is Mike Porpora at Saks in New York. He will search for the bag you want and update on sales.
He gave me pleasant experiences! I can't wait for the upcoming sales in May.

Best Chanel SA I've met is KEMI at Bloomingdales NYC. 212-705-2000. THe other SA's there are awful, but she's terrific. Always picks out brand new stunning bags for me. Easy to work with and never rude...always patient.
