Sorry, this will be a long post.

Rebag is the worst, I placed an order on 12/2, the item is from the Short Hills location.
I received tracking for pre-shipment on 12/5.
I checked the tracking everyday and no movement/updates, so I emailed their customer service on 12/11 and they said they would look into it.
On 12/13, nothing, so I decided to call them and the person on phone also said they will investigate.
So, I waited for a few days, still checking the tracking and still no updates/movement since 12/5 (the pre-shipment date). This item is obviously lost or stolen.
On 12/17, I called customer service and was told that they requested cancellation and refund for this order.
On 12/18, received email saying Short Hills location cannot cancel or refund because it was an online order. So I then called customer service letting them know this and the person on phone said ok, I will put in request to cancel and refund with their cancellation department.
On 12/20, still no refund, so I called customer service again asking when will I receive refund. Person on phone said I will put in another request for cancellation and refund.
Today, 12/21, no refund. The thing is I am traveling next week so may have to wait till I'm back.

This whole thing has been horrible, I will never buy from Rebag ever again.
I am so sorry you are dealing with this. At this point, I would request a purchase dispute through your credit card showing them documentation that the item never shipped. It will be an easy refund, and your credit card will deal with it entirely. That being said, I was quite shocked as I purchased an item last month, priced about 18.5K, and it did not ship for at least three weeks, and delivery was exactly one month + 1 day from when I purchased! This is quite shocking to me.

This should be an easy fix if you used a c.c. to pay for it.

Just file a dispute with your bank.

The problem is I use money I had in my Rebag wallet.

Did you just wait for the item and hoping it will ship?

Yes, it was all I could do. I also kept texting some guy who constantly texts me from their company asking me to sell things to them (not sure how they got my info, because I only ever purchased one item from them in my life). I just kept asking, he would check, and then say, not shipped yet, but at least it felt better that someone would check.
If you don’t have anyone texting you from the company, I would recommend submitting an item on their site for a selling quote (even if you don’t intend to sell). That seems to instigate someone from their company to text you aggressively. It’s a two-way street, so they will respond to your inquiries as well, about anything at all (in my experience). They seem to respond day or night very quickly. I would just give you the name of my person, but when I texted someone else from their company, they said you will need to talk to your agent about this.
After my experience of waiting a month for my item, I wanted to buy another item they had for sale, but I purchased through eBay instead of their website because I don’t want to deal with them directly again.

I finally received back my bag...2 months after I asked for it back. Of course, the extra chain that comes with the squeeze bag is not with the box or inside of the bag. Rebag says it wasn't there. However, I took pictures as I was boxing it up, and it clearly shows that it was. After the ordeal that is Rebag, after their denial, I just deleted the ap and am going to move on. Never again will I deal with them.

Word of caution ... I placed an item in my cart, just in the cart. About 4 hours later I got an alert from my credit card company that Rebag had charged me for the item that was never checked out -- just placed in my cart. The credit card company said Rebag charged it back out 20 minutes later. I do not have a stored card with Rebag, but in Paypal, and they managed to charge me out via Paypal, according to my credit card company. Just stay alert with Rebag -- I know 100% they have access to your favorites and your cart, but to check you out??? Insane.

Wow. Thanks for the warning. How is that even possible? I thought the point of PayPal is that the merchant never gets your CC details?

You can set up Paypal to recognize your home device and just allow a cc purchase without additional steps. Basically a 1-click buy once you do an initial setup. The merchant won't see the credit card information but if they hit Paypal in your account, like you would have to, the purchase will go through. My credit card company advised me to unlink my card from PayPal and turn off one click buying. It was truly mind blowing, to say the least. I do not trust that store at all and won't deal with them further.

That’s insane. I thought you still had to initiate the purchase, while logged into your trusted device though - I don’t understand how they were able to make a one-click purchase on your behalf? That seems like a huge security hole for PayPal. Not to mention super shady, and possibly illegal, behaviour from the merchant.

It would be worth taking it up with PayPal too; reputationally, this would be a big problem for them. They’ve built their platform on the premise of arms length transactions. They may have more traction dealing with the issue than you can get as an individual customer.

Also someone might have had access to your Rebag account. I would change my password on it. Also change your password on paypal.

I’m sorry to hear about another problem with Rebag. Buyers be aware! Please do read Better Business Bureau comments and complaints. They have an extremely low rating. I wish I had done so prior to sending a Gucci bag to them, which they subsequently claimed they never received. When they send you a shipping label, it doesn’t include insurance. This is not a reputable company.

Good points. I was completely signed out from Rebag on my home computer and when I got the alert I called my cc company immediately and not Rebag. It's definitely worth talking to PayPal about so I'll do that, that's a good idea.

Has anyone brought any of their items to a Rebag store for quotes? If so, I'd love to hear about your experience. I'm traveling to Las Vegas next month and planning to visit their store while I'm there. I'm considering bringing a few bags I want to sell to get quotes on them. I know they have an online quote system, but I haven't found it very reliable plus all the negative experiences with people shipping their bags and getting lower offers... Thanks!
