OH! That's a nice feature, the notifications  And I appreciate all the help I can get tracking that bad boy down. No idea about belt bags, tho'. Would RL respond if you emailed and asked?

Alright I tried that route. She didn't give me a list or anything but she did search on her end and didn't find anything like a belt bag but it could have been called something else. She also couldn't find a card holder and I've seen photos of those so I know they exist. Back to square one.

Does anyone know anything about this bag? I saw one for sale last year on eBay but never thought much of it. It popped back into my mind the other week and I'd like to find out more about it.

New high end RL bag, like a minimalistic Ricky. I still prefer the Ricky though

Hi everyone - joining the conversation. In the back of my mind, I've always been interested in the Ricky but never really thought about purchasing until recently. The quality and pricing are both appealing to me - I don't think I've ever seen one in person or close up. I just purchased one on Tradesy and am looking forward to experiencing it.

I do like the dark brown bags I've seen in this thread - and the very soft, smushy ones are very attractive to me.

Thanks for sharing.

Welcome to the club! The 33 style grabbed me by the heart one day and now I own 4 different styles of the Ricky bag. I truly love them all. I'm sure you'll love yours too!

Thank you mgwonline. I snagged a brand new 33 soft Ricky in truffle. The minute I opened the box, I instantly took a liking to it and can definitely see it being an every day work bag. The quality and feel is impeccable. I anticipated getting a thinner bag strap based on the photos I've seen. However, I've spotted a thicker bag strap for some other Rickys and prefer that. I hope the bag begins to slouch with use.

Although not an exact match, I've ordered a thicker leather strap from Etsy to use instead.

I am a fan of other specific designers and that's how I got involved with TPF. However, I am a little disillusioned with some of the price hikes recently which are a bit obscene IMO. Not to mention the hoops to jump in order to obtain certain styles.

It's forced me to re-think current and future purchases and really start to use my bags - instead of just storing and admiring from afar. Admittedly, I am starting to gravitate toward other designers as a result and know I am not alone.

I really like how the Ricky is under the radar. And that you can purchase it on sale and second hand with some ease. But at the same time, if you have the means and desire to spend thousands on an exotic, the choice is there also.

Looks like I am in good company here!
