Speaking of the size of a Calvi, I haven't been able to locate one so haven't been able to measure - will it fit a packet of Kleenex tissues? - So difficult to find some SLGs, been looking for a Karo PM on the bay etc, but the few that have popped up have either been too well worn and/or too pricey - sigh:-)

Probably not ideal if you want to put the whole package in.

They have quite a few calvis on H.com now. Maybe see if there's any color you like?

You can't even see it once you put it in, this pen is so tiny!

It's a piece of cake to fit it into a calvi. It's shorter than a calvi.

My Bastia is Bleu Azteque and the yellow pouch is lime.

Now I can think of a lot more use for calvi and Bastia thanks to this thread and may I say it almost feels like meant to be that H is releasing a new purple and a new green that I'm missing in my rainbow? :woohoo: :woot:

That is really helpful! I lost my Calvi :sad: when we were on vacation last year so I didn't know if the pen would fit or not. It is perfect!

Dear Cavalla, how kind of you to take these pictures - very helpful to see this! I stalked the Irish and German H coms before I visited a few weeks ago, and found a lovely blue one, think it was Preussian blue. Sadly, when visiting, I only found a Soufre, which was beautiful. I intend one to be a card case, and think I need sth a little darker so it won't get grubby too soon. The idea of using one for tissues was just a sudden thought. Buying from H com would add 25.00 pst tax plus 10.7 pst Customs' fee so I much rather buy abroad and get a refund of their national taxes - the hunt fior a rainbow continues

That makes sense. And you're right about not finding Calvis on EU site. H.com has a lot more SLG and agenda / notepad options than EU. I only learned about trifold on .com and was never able to find it on .eu. Although, I think the inventory in stores in EU is not bad. As I look at my SLGs, except for the 2 GMs I have, all my SLGs were bought in Europe. Better to buy in store anyways, you don't get tax refund if you buy it online. I hope you find your calvi soon.

Thanks for your kind response - looked at us.H and they had tons of Calvis - so envious :-) Rather strange really that EU.H has so little stock, it is a French brand after all - but the mysterious ways of H are unpredictable as always! Collected all my cadenas from resellers btw, mostly Japanese, bc I was late to the party and H stopped making them. Love them to bits and want to get a framed case to mount them on a wall to admire when not in use :-) atm they take turn to serve as key rings to adorn my bags.

Is the Silk'In Compact Wallet discontinued? Also, how come none of these fun colors are available for purchase online? I've only ever seen 4-5 colors being available for the Bastia Coin Purse and the Calvi Card Holder.

The interior of the Silk’In has the Ex-Libris pattern in shades of blues and greens.

I’ll use the playing card case, instead of a pouch, to corral small items. I found the top of a Smythson box (from a Wafer Diary) is the perfect size to slip inside to create a drawer, and it also provides some structure.
