Oh this is new from Hermes?!?! Soooo cute!!!

No, I've been hanging around the evil bay - do a search and you will find tons of purses in the shape of animals and fruits - they are just lovely - so far I've only acquired one in the shape of a slice of orange which I'm using for my bank-ID thingy :-) - afraid there will be more to come! Thanks for your kind words!

Sorry BBC, yours is the last post I can see, and hope I am not muddling up your post! Am so eager to share a tiny thing on its way to me! I am on my iPhone so things act up. Maybe a funny way of building a rainbow but this little red pepper coin purse was so unusual and lovely!

Oh you are so thoughtful!!! Yes, add your pics, no muddling at all! And I've neve seen this adorable pepper! Super cool [emoji1360][emoji1360][emoji1360]

Thanks BBC - posting from the iPhone is sometimes s bit hit and miss! And yes, ideally I would love to collect all the fruit and animal coin purses, hoarding tendencies, anyone, but they are tiny and not easy to put to any practical use - mostly eye candy. My first time seeing the red pepper as well, the apple and melon slices are much more common I think. Would love the Apple to store my ear buds, though, being part of the iPhone gear :-)

Trying to get this thread going again - there are so many lovely rainbows to see, although quite a few pictures sadly are gone. However, when reading through it once more, I realise rather few key rings/chains are posted, perhaps some Carmens are used for that? The lovely thread for charms/cadenas is perhaps where to look instead? So, dear tPF'rs, which are your preferred key rings, for your house and car keys and everything else which needs to be locked up :-)

Here's my rainbow! As many of you saw in my reveal, this was one of the first threads I saw (and fell in love with) when I first joined tPF. It is exciting to finally post my own contribution with some of my H SLGs. Thank you for letting me share.

Globe-trotter agenda, raisin/chevre + red carmencita
Piccolo pen case, red/chevre
Black paddock horseshoe charm
Bastia coin purse, orange/chevre
Vision (checkbook cover), cumin/chevre + blue izmir carmencita
Calvi cardholder, turquise/chevre

Tarmac passport cover, blue zephyr/epsom
.33 oz travel atomizer, blue paon/swift

Wow! This is a true rainbow! Me love!!

Hello all  I recently started my collection. I look forward to adding more blues, and some green!

Here’s what I have so far:

Jaune Poussin - Epsom - Silk'In Compact Wallet
Bleu Zéphyr - Epsom - Bastia Coin Case
Jaune Poussin - Epsom - Calvi Card Case
Céleste - Carmen Key Holder
White - Togo - Mises et Relances Playing Card Case

SLG1.jpg

The interior of the Silk’In has the Ex-Libris pattern in shades of blues and greens.

I’ll use the playing card case, instead of a pouch, to corral small items. I found the top of a Smythson box (from a Wafer Diary) is the perfect size to slip inside to create a drawer, and it also provides some structure.

What tender and lovely colours! Your idea of using a catd case for small items is perfect - I always carry bits of jewelry around, in case I want to change my earrings or a bracelet during the day - this seems like a very clever solution! PS, just starting out my collection as well, twins on the wallet, and a bell pepper coin case as well as an orange slice for my bank ID. Looking for a Calvi soon!

Hi eliwon, many thanks! I do love the pale colors, but my rainbow looks a bit anemic compared to the others here! I'd love to collect pieces in a brighter palette, too! So glad to hear you've found pieces to love, and so fun to be your wallet twin! Regarding the playing card case, yes, hoping it will serve as a good solution. I also like that it's slim, and will stand upright next to my wallet, and other pieces.

Love the gorgeous summery colors. Enjoy!

Thank you so much, califl! :flowers:

I discovered another use for my new Bastia, a post-it pad perfectly fits inside! Must be one that's partially used, as the full thickness of a new pad will not fit. Pleases me as I like to carry a small pad of paper in my bag.

I love this! So pretty!

I remember seeing a small croc "post it note" holder at a NYC sale..even included the post its. It was a beautiful deep gray and I had it in my purchase bag until I found out that it was over $600....and that was 50% off retail...I couldn't do it for such a small piece!

I love that playing card case and how you reinvent the use of it!
