Rainbow of colors inside your H bag

By the way....just to mention -

From personal experience I prefer not to use the coin sections in any of my H wallets. It stretches out the leather and the coins cause discoloration. A Bastia is a MUST! [emoji6][emoji1360]

This is very important and useful information for someone, i e me, who cannot decide which pieces to get when it comes to wallets - thank you :-)

My wallets age MUCH better when I do not put coins in them. Plus I keep all sorts of fun little bits in my Bastia, too: besides coins, there's a mini nail file, travel Ganesha, assorted guitar picks, hairband, spare scarf ring, little worry dolls....

When you pay something in cash and need both coins and bills, do you keep the notes in your wallet and thus have to pick up both a wallet and the Bastia from your bag - do you find it fiddly? Sorry to ask such a stupid question, but I really want to find out what is most practical. I've always had small, socalled French purses, only, where I can stash everything - CC, coins, notes and receipts so doing it differently is beyond my imagination :-)

I actually stuff some spare cash (smaller denomination bills) in my Bastia so that I don't have to take out my wallet when I'm paying with cash, saves me from fumbling around when in a queue. The bigger denomination bills will all be in my wallet.

Love all the pinks [emoji177][emoji177]

Oh my, pink gorgeousness!!

I audibly "ooooooooooooo"'d at this LOL Such a glorious collection...you truly have an expert's eye for color!

Thank you!!!! Silly me, it was only when I took it all out I realized most of the pieces were pink! [emoji848][emoji848][emoji848] Admittedly, I LOVE pink. I am looking to add a few more colors/pieces soon.

Eliwon, yes, I do find it fiddly, but I'm used to it. It's worth the extra effort for me to do it this way.

Also I realized that people worry about a Kelly Wallet being a pain to open and close all the time, but the silkin zipper isn't any easier or more efficient.

I thought the silkin was much easier to use, was contemplating to get one but if it's not, I might have to rethink my options. I love the look of the Kelly wallet but always thought the "wings" (lol) were too troublesome.

Fiddly is annoying - got a Herbag Vibrato with a Kelly-like opening/fastening gizmo, takes both hands to close, I'm beyond annoyed with it - its lovely looks just almost make up for it!

ITA, I almost never bother to close my Berline and the wings are just tucked under the flap, I guess if I ever get my Grail Kelly (BE K32 GHW Chevre) I will do the same too. It's much too troublesome to be fumbling around with the turn lock and all. Same goes for Kelly Wallet IMO. I should probably start hunting for a Constance long wallet [emoji28]
